I bought this a week ago. It is the ultimate spy toy. It has a claw that is very strong, a mic, and an LED light, instead of having four wheels, it has three, two in the front, one in the back. The back wheel pivots. It also has a cargo bed. It is a stupendous toy

I got this toy yesturday. It is a fun toy as well as a personal helper. It is a bit like those robots you see on all those future shows such as the Jetsons that clean up the house so you don't have to. It is a little bit like that except that it is remote control. It is not a speedy bot. It is more of a slow but silent bot. My little sister hates the thing. She is only three though. I am 10. I am trying to get her to start liking it by her asking it a question, and I record the answer and then play the answer back. No such luck. I think what that kid did in the previous review is EXTREMELY clever. I also have the mini spy gadgets (the one with the spy belt). I highly recomend both gadgets.

this is one of the best spy gagets. the claw lifts great and cares the stuff the light is bright. the cargobay holds a lot. the only bad thing is it is slow. if your looking for a speedy bot this is not it.

I got this for my birthday(March 5th). The day the Boston Massacre took place.(1770). My teacher taught us that. Well I got this from my cool uncle.(On my dad's side.) It is very slow but silent. I watch T.V. and have it bring me a drink or the remote control. The claw is awesome. It can pick up glass cups! It has pads so it doesn't make scratches. The light is not bright. But it has to be not bright or the person you're spying on might see it. The recording device is decent. When you play it back it is loud and hard to understand. I have only one problem, it can't move while you're recording! So if someone sees you while you're recording you can't escape. It takes 6 double A's. Inserted in the robot. And 1 9-volt. Inserted in the remote. Overall this is definetley worth the price!

I am writing this with my 9 year old daughter, who says: "I got this toy for Christmas. I'd been wanting it for a while. I was surprised that it went so slowly and that it was so noisy. But those weren't enough to make me not like it. I don't think you could really "spy" on anyone since it makes a lot of noise when it moves, but the recorder is still really fun. The claw works very well and can pick up a lot of things as long as they're not too thin. It has good padding on the claw so it won't scratch what it picks up. The remote works from a far distance, that was really cool. Spy Robot is a cool toy and I still like playing with it!!"

I used this for Halloween 2004 on the houses I was too afraid to go to, and it was an exellent toy for that purpose. It earned me a grand total of 87 pieces of candy! The headlight was good (but not great) for navigation in the holiday's darkness, and the cargo area you may be hearing about was good for holding a small bowl. However, the speed and the response time of the vehicle were very annoying. (it took 30 seconds, maybe even a minute, to get from the beginning of someone's driveway to their front steps.) it is also good for some "around the house" cleanup. The next thing I would say is the title of the review.

My 5-year old enjoys this, but I am surprised at its poor maneuverability. We have less expensive toys that can roll over small items, but this thing can't even get up the hump from wood floor to berber carpet. And the microphone works only sometimes, and has a very weak and staticky sound. But on the good side, the pinchers seem to work well and are fun for kids and adults. We pick up dog toys with it and have a blast watching the dog timidly chase and try and grab her toy back.

This toy REALLY stinks. It's really slow and makes a lot of noise. I gave it a five star educational value because it teaches you not to buy stuff that lookes fun, but to reasearch it first.

Grandson loved it. He is very mechanicaly inclined. This toy is kind of complicated for a very young child, but it is a fun toy for an older child. I do recommended this toy.

i thought this toy was ok. it was verryy loud!! i was suprised! it could pick up stuff, but not really big things or it would get in the way of the loudly moving robot. it was also really slow. if you accidentaly hit the "record" button, there was no way to shut it off! plus the recordings weren't clear enough to hear anything. during spy missions, people could hear the robot coming, so our cover was blown. i wouldnt recommend this toy to anybody.
