Bad Mixing, September 16, 2011

The music on this disc is absolutely wonderful. However the mixing is terrible. The tuba only tracks sound decent, but songs like So What and Walkin' just sound bad. The bass guitar on these tracks sounds too bright and twangy while the mellow sound of the tuba is trying to solo on top. The bad mixing ruined a good number of tracks. I'd like the hear more from the Tennessee Tech Tuba Ensemble, but I'm a little afraid after hearing this disc.
