Bow Wow has been around for a couple of years now, and during that time he tried to be acceptable to fans of all ages. It may have been hard to do so with his first two albums, but now that he's older, he looks and sounds more mature (doesn't he kind of look like 50 Cent on the back cover?), and people can be more open to give him a chance. But I don't know if he deserves one after hearing Unleashed.Sure, the album has its moments like "Let's Get Down", but...actually, let me rephrase that: the album has its MOMENT like "Let's Get Down". Nothing else on this album really stands out. "Get It Poppin'" suffers from a weak chorus, and "Follow Me" is a lame instructional tale on how to get rich and famous like he is. And the Neptunes-produced "The Don, The Dutch" sounds like it was made in 1989. But the real problem here is...well, there are actually two real problems. One is that Bow Wow sounds different on every track, and the other problem is that most of these songs don't make sense, especially "I Got Y'all" and the 2Pac-esque "The Movement". And if you think he sounded cheesy when he said "When I turn 16 I'll call her though" (from "Bounce Wit Me"), "Eighteen" is the whole BLOCK of cheese. The last two tracks (the obligatory ode to his mother and "I'm Back", a bonus track) don't do anything for this album either. Maybe Bow Wow should unleash some better material for his next album. (By the way, has anyone else noticed that Jermaine Dupri had absolutely nothing to do with this album?) Anthony Rupert

This is a great cd......Bow Wow has really matured......He is writing his own songs(finally). Not by Jermaine Dupri. I think leaving So So Def is the best thing Shad ever did....even though the cd has some low points.....But i love it......His best cd ever...Can't wait for the third single!Get It Poppin'-5/5 Let's Get Down-5/5 (First Single) Eighteen-2/5 A low point of the cd Follow Me-5/5 My Baby-5/5 Great Video (Second Single) The Don,The Dutch-5/5 (Third Single) The Movement-5/5 Sounds like a 2pac song I Can't Lose-5/5 Hey Little Momma-5/5 my fave song.....should be a single I Got Ya'll-4/5 Hate the hook I'll Move On-5/5 Mario is a great feature to this song! To My Mama-5/5 Amerie should have done more vocals! I'm Back-4/5 Should have been on the cd as a regular track. And what is up with tracks 13,14,and 15? They have nothing on them ...Great cd Bow Wow

Why Blayz put Ladacris and 50 cent in the same sentence with BIG and 2pac is beyond me, but he's right about one thing....underground rappers like him and I spend YEARS perfecting the ART trying to get deals, yet no talent boys like Bow Wow get all this press. It's shameful and shows that the US fanbase would rather hear materialistic rap then rap in the Common/Mos Def/Canibus/PE vein.

Not Impressed At All,

I've thoroughly enjoyed Bow Wow's music over the years, but I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed with this CD. There's no originality and many of the songs sound the same as Bow Wow reminds us over and over again how rich he is, the amount of money he has, and how shiny his cars are. How original. My advice -- buy the single for "Let's Get Down" and call it a day.

THIS IS JUST A TRUE DISGRACE TO HIP HOP. I CANT EVEN EXPLAIN HOW HORRIBLE THIS ALBUM IS. IT MAKES ME MAD THAT ALL THE UNDERGROUND RAPPERS ARE A 100 TIMES BETTER THAN BOW WOW BUT HE GETS ALL THE PUBLICITY. HE HAS THE WORST RHYMES YOU WILL EVER HEAR. " You can come be by my side while we go outside." YOU SEE HOW WEAK THAT IS. ANYONE CAN WRITE THAT. HE ALSO DOES NOT EVEN WRITE HIS OWN MUSIC. THE ONLY THING YOU MIGHT ENJOY BY LISTENING TO THIS ALBUM IS HOW STUPID HE IS. IT IS REALLY FUNNY. SO UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPENSIVE DRINK COASTER OR YOU ARE AN INSANE BOW WOW FOLLOWER DONT GO NEAR THIS ALBUM!

I agree with both reviews on here, and to answer ur question, yes everyone noticed that JD had nothing to do on this album., the reason for that is he isnt with JD no more and niether is Jagged Edge. Whoever wrote that review should really stay up on ur music news.

first of all, he aint no rapper. 2nd of all T.I. Wrote 30% of that album. so if you hear anything close to lyrical on it, then you know who it came from. the only ones whos gonna feel this album is little girls who think hes hott.
