This audio is sensational. I have been receiving messsages since I was a kid, but did not understand some of the elements on how to interpret those messages. Both John's book and this audio opened a whole new world for me. I like it so much that I am ordering another one for a friend. Can't wait for John's new book. His last book was simple, but forceful and forward and John has a great since of humor, what surprised me. Sunny

I enjoyed listening to these tapes. Always having been interested in the "other side" and wanting to develop my abilities, it wasn't until watching John did I find someone who seemed honest and truthful with his readings and his ability. He explains the importance of protecting yourself from the negative energies and teaches you ways to protect yourself. I have enjoyed the meditations that he has taught me and use them daily. If you are interested in developing your own abilities I strongly recommend these tapes as well as other works by John.

I bought this one before I decided to buy the $40.00 package to see what it was about.

The first tape basically talks about different ways that we protect ourselves in our daily lives and why it is so important to do so spiritually to avoid negative energy of others.

Then the other tapes get into "ritualistic" things you can do to clean the "physical" area around you like your home and an actual recipie that you can even get ingredients at your supermarket to use.

The last side of the tape deals with meditation which I found to be deep and very useful in my daily life on letting go of bad energy and just cleansing yourself.

Does this make you a "psychic" who knows. My view on this is that if you were ment to be a psychic you would be one now. If you are interested in "cleansing" and "meditation" this tape is excellent. If I become a "born again" psychic I will certainly let you know. Don't get me wrong I am not debunking the value of this tape in any way but these are just my views on what I heard.

I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in spiritual development. Although it is not (as he admits) the psychic training "silver bullet", it is full of very effective and practical techniques for psychic and spiritual development, especially for western society. The psychic defense exercises alone are worth the price of this book. Also, his creative chakra training techniques (found here and in most of his other books) are easy to follow, instantly committed to long-term memory, and very effective. John Edward does it again!

if you are a moderately experienced psychic (or more), this set contains no new information. The experienced psychic already knows self-protection as Edward describes it, as well as cleaning buildings/areas. If you are comfortable and used to working with your psychic abilities, the second disc also holds nothing new.

That being said, if you are new to using your psychic abilities or to working with psychic powers, this is a good starting place. His instructions for cleaning buildings or areas are right on the money, and his meditations for developing your psychic abilities are well done. Come to think of it, I have encountered metaphysical book stores where they were doing readings and such and not cleaning the area regularly. The result was a psychically charged but very confusing lot of energies from all directions. I walked out of that place because the energies were so confused as to be acutely uncomfortable.

These tapes were wonderful! Not only did they touch on the very subject matter, but they permitted John's own unique humor to come thru!! I admit that I felt that the use of 2 tapes was a at first glance a waste. I then realized that you needed two tapes to take in so much. These are 2 thumbs up - Thanks John!

I ordered this after reading "One last time" and "Crossing Over"..both of which I rate as 5 stars also. The audio cassettes have a beautiful meditation that really helped me to relax and get in touch with my feelings. Thanks John for a wonderful book and Audio.

I found this book so fascinating that I have re-read it at least 3 times and have read certain sections more than that. I find John Edward to be a sincere person who at first had difficulty with his "gift", and is now helping many people come to a closure on their loved one's death. I wish he were easier to reach as I would certainly enjoy a conversation with him.

This is a good introduction into your psychic powers. I thought the strong point was the meditations, they were really great ( I wish there was more). Overall, it was very informative and interesting at the same time.

I really liked this book. I am an avid reader and would recommend adding this book to your must read list. Another book that really impressed me is Psychic Gifts in the Christian Life - Tools to Connect, by Tiffany Snow, pub. 2003. In this time of increasing awareness for the need to help our relationships, workplace, family, self and environment, these two books are at the forefront of giving us the tools to do so - not only by positive reinforcements, but in the case of "Psychic Gifts," showing we have a Divine birthright to access the supernatural in our lives, and how to tap into that. I encourage you to Keep Reading, apply what you learn, and be a force for good in your part of the world.
