Ive been using wireless phones for a great many years and have been disappointed more times than not. I tried these because Ive learned that price does not always match performance when it comes to wireless headsets. From the first time I walked around my house with these on I noticed that they have a much greater range than most costing allot more.
I also noticed they are secure and comfy. Anyone looking for a first set of wireless phones will not do better than these for the money. They sound better than my three times the price Sony phones and are interference free when adjusted properly. In fact they perform better than any others I have ever owned so far (about six different brands and price ranges). I can even walk outside and empty the garbage or do a little gardening around the house and still I hear no breaks in audio.
And one final hint for these things is get some higher amp hour rated batteries. They ship with 500mah so replacing them with some Lenmar or Ultralast 800-1000mah types greatly increases the run time. Just make sure they are the NiMh type.
Try them you will like them.

I purchased the SPK-9110 wireless headphones so that we could listen all over the house to internet radio. Ultimately, I plan to add a wireless mike so that we can skype friends without being tied to the computer. Plus, it just seemed like a great idea not to be tethered to the computer all the time.

So far, I give these headphones a C+. The way they're designed, there are 3 "channels" on the 900MHz frequency that the phones can scan. You have a 3 way switch on the base station, and a button on the headset to re-scan the channel, somewhat like the old 900MHz cordless phones (remember those, before the age of cell phones?).

Unlike cordless phones, however, the headset does NOT always lock onto the signal. In fact, if there's no audio at the source, the headset does not even connect. It waits until it detects an audio signal, and after a few seconds it establishes a connection and you start to hear the audio. But even after it's locked on to the signal, it will sometimes drop out again.

I don't know whether this is a universal problem or a defect in our unit, but the instruction manual implies that this is how it works. For the first few days I couldn't even get it to work half the time and was ready to return it. But then I discovered that if I jack up the volume all the way, the headset connects pretty fast and stays connected. Fortunately there's a volume control on the headset to keep it moderate in your ears. You just have to remember to reset the computer/stereo volume before turning the speakers back on or you will blow them out!

I can't say I recommend this headset, based on this experience. Since I paid $34.99 I'm probably going to keep them. But to do it again, I would pay another $20 or $30 and get a better designed unit from Sony, Sennheiser, or JVC.

I got these just to listen to movies and so forth after the kids and wife went to bed, but I found they were much better quality than I first suspected due to the low price. I had no connectivity problems at all. The range easily covers my entire house, but would proably only be the advertised 150 ft without any walls in the way. My house is only 75 ft long with the transmitter on one end there is only one spot where I get even a glitch in receptoin all the way at the other end of the house. Yes, I looked like a dork walking around my house trying to find the range. :)

I bought these to use in the office since I kept rolling over the cable on my wired phones with my chair. I had the same problem of losing the signal abruptly that another reviewer noted until I swapped out the included no-name rechargeable AAA batteries with some rechargeable Sony branded batteries. With a good strong charge on them I have no problems at all connecting and staying connected. They're comfortable, not too heavy and sound fine. A very good value.

These headphones are FANTASTIC!! Tried others (much more expensive)... and you had to sit directly in front of the television just to get the correct signal. With these headphones, we can go throughout the entire house and get clear crisp reception!! The sound quality is excellent and I couldn't be more pleased. Now I can finally hear my television in the kitchen without the distraction of the shows my hubby watches since we have an open concept house!! NO MORE FIGHTS to "turn your TV down please!"! The best buck we ever spent...
Why pay MORE????

I needed wireless headphones for work since the cord from the ipod was getting very annoying. This would be my first experience with wireless headphones. The reviews for these were good and they cost $75 to $100 less than the Sennheiser ones I was looking at. I was hoping these would sound good, but I think that was asking too much. At the time, these were $38 plus shipping and I should have known it was too good to be true.

The construction quality is noticeably cheap compared to higher priced phones, but that is to be expected. The included AAA rechargeable batteries are trash, but I didn't care about that either(they can be replaced). The only thing I wanted was good sound, and these definitely did NOT deliver. I'm not an audiophile (I was using a $15 pair of skull candy ear buds) but these just sounded terrible to me. Forget about bass response, there is no bass response, and forget about cranking the volume on your favorite tracks, they can't handle it. The only acceptable performance I get with these is with audiobooks and podcasts. They also get a little static in them a little too often. This is strange since at work I'm never more than 20 feet from the base.

I tested these on five audio sources: Sony shelf system CMTBX50BTi, 13in Macbook, my Dell PC, a Samsung Plasma PN42B450, and an ipod.

When attached to the Macbook and Sony, the volume on the source had to be turned down to very low settings to work making it useless since the audio quality was unbearable.

They worked on the TV although I could not imagine watching TV like that for very long.

They worked on the ipod and PC, but like I said, the sound quality when listening to music is bad.

The only way I can recommend these is for listening to spoken word audio. That's all I'll be using them for... but I'll keep these at home and spring for the Sennheisers for work. Lesson Learned.

Bought these to listen to movies from my home theater expecting marginal performance at best. Absolutely blown away - rechargeable, comfortable, noise-cancelling, just perfect. These have replaced my $500 Sony surround headphones and are performing better than the Sony headphones ever did - amazing value.

These things just work. I'm using them for TV and gaming, so I can't speak to the high end sound attributes, but I've been using for a couple of weeks now and despite some warnings (even in the user instructions) I've yet to have the audio disconnect because of a weak signal, and I've worn them to different floors and rooms while a show is playing. The sound is clear (no static), connecting to audio source is pain free, the recharger works without a lot of jiggling and jostling to make the connection, and what else is there to say? Just not sure about battery life because I use them for a couple hours at a time at most, then they are back on the recharger. Guess you may want to keep a spare pair of AAAs around in case you simply must watch an entire Three Stooges marathon with the 'phones on. Because of earlier reviews I did start out with 1100 mAh batteries, but I switched back to the included ones which say they are 600 mAh, and they have been fine so far for couple-hour stints. Again - I am not testing the limits of these, I am just here to tell you they work as advertised, and with no difficulties, for a good price. I'm glad I picked them from among all the other choices.

I bought these wireless headphones after reading the many favorable reviews on Amazon. I am very pleased with them. They worked perfectly, have adequate range and excellent sound quality. Some other reviewers noted that the earphones must be placed on the transmitter cradle to recharge the headphone batteries, which is a minor inconvenience. The good news is that the headphone rechargeable batteries are AAA standard sized NiMH and most discount stores sell inexpensive chargers, like the Rayovac 15 minute charger and 15 minute rechargeable batteries. Thus spare sets of charged batteries can be easily available when needed, avoiding the need to use the transmit cradle charger. The kit came with a variety of adapters so it can easily be attached to a variety of sound sources.

I've been using these headphones for about two weeks now and I think they are great. I use them at work where I sit in front of a computer for eight hours and I have them on the entire time. At first the battery wasn't lasting the whole eight hours but I think it was because I didn't charge it the complete twenty four hours like the instructions said to do so. After I did they now last the full shift. It took me a little while to get the perfect reception but once I did they are perfect. I walk around the office in them to go to a printer or the break room and they work fine with no disruption. At first they sounded a little distorted but after I tried what one of the other reviews said to do, which was turn down the headphones and turn up the source they sound really good except for bass response isn't that great but otherwise the sound is good. I am completely satisfied with these headphones and do recommend them if you don't want to pay the higher price for the Sennheiser's. They met the two needs that I had, they are cordless and rechargeable.
