I recently purchased the i9 and overall have been very pleased with my purchase. It is a very nice little phone. However,if you are not a technical person and are not comfortable with computers and other electronic devices you will probably want to spend the extra money and get an iPhone. As pointed out in other reviews the users manual is disappointing to say the least but this can be overcome by accessing the CECT i9 Forum[...] Through this page I have been able to learn how to use all of the features of my phone and upgrade the phones internet browser and take advantage of all of the phones features. It took me about 2.5 hours to get everything figured out initially but if I had not been able to access the i9 forum I would have been much more disappointed with this phone and would still not have figured out many of the features. The internet browser that comes with the phone is horrendous and if I did not have the i9 Forum to turn to it for assistance in upgrading the browser to Opera Mini and set the WAP settings for the internet I would not have been able to get internet service which would have resulted in me rating this phone as a one or two star purchase. Overall I thought that the phone was constructed in a satisfactory manner. The camera is very easy to use and takes decent photos. The phone reception has been excellent and the video and audio players have worked well. Remove the back cover is a little difficult initially but if you lay the phone face down and press and push the cover down it comes off easily. This phone is not for everyone but if you are willing to use the online forum as your guide you should be happy with your purchase.

I purchased this phone and there is no "user manual" at all. the net has some literature but it's not worth anything. The batteries (after being fully charged) last only about 2 hours MAX. This is NOT an Iphone clone. It tries to be but falls so far back that comparing the Iphone to the I9 is like comparing a car to a donkey. The shake feature does not work.

Bought this phone for my daughter. Ads made it look great, youtube videos also made it look like something special. The phone lasted about 3 days. First the adapter failed, then the phone started having issues, ultimately failing completely. Tried returning to vendor (this was not bought on Amazon, but www.lightinthebox.com), and they said they never received it, woudln't refund me my money, etc.

I disagree with one of the previous viewers --- the Chinese do make quality stuff. Most everything electronic is Chinese-made these days (iPhone too). The trick is that many of the companies have horrible Quality Control, so it is really buyer beware if you go with a lesser-known brand.

Well as some say it, I agree. This phone is for people who like tweaking with setting. I guess is for the more technically inclined. Yes the forums make it easier to set up your phone completely. I had no problems with my phone at all. I also installed Opera Mini browser. I was not too pleased with the keyboard. I wish it would tilt sideways. Other than that it is a great phone for the price.

balls! It only slightly looks like the original iphone. Yet it is a joke, though it is easy to use. The phone malfunctions, freezes and is glitchy. Just buy an unlocked iphone, it is worth the $ unlike this joke phone.

Received my mini KA08 iphone as a gift. There is a problem when I make a call, the person I call cannot hear me because they hear a loud buzzing sound. We have tried moving to different parts of the house, and calling different people. The problem is always the same. I can hear the incoming voice loud and clear, so the phone is receiving okay, but in sending there is the problem.

The first timeI saw this phone I couldn't believe how such a small phone dcould be able to accept a 8 GB SD cad but it did! Besides of being able to do all of the other smartphones do, this one is so easy to carry on, has a very cute design and comes with a small case with a silk necklace that you can put aroud your neck. This is very light ad the image is create. I just love this phone!

I bought this phone, thinking it was going to be great! WRONG! The camera is total GARBAGE! And the touch screen is awful! And after one month my phone would no longer charge! DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! I can't even use it now! WASTE OF MONEY!

If you want this phone dont get it. the touchscreen dont work no matter how hard you push slide or tap its very bad. If only they test it before they ship it.

You have to be a total moron if you can't figure out a cell phone without a user manual. This phone is really easy to figure out any ways. I had it but some one stole it. Its not exactly like an Iphone, any idiot can figure that out. But it is super similar. If your battery didn't work, buy a new one. I didn't have to though. I charged mine at the end of the day, and if I wasn't constantly fiddling with it all day it worked non stop. Good phone. Does what its meant to.
