To begin with, the moment I opened the box, I loved what I saw. The phone looks very fancy, neat and a class apart. The screen's sensitivity to touch is excellent.
My problem with this phone so far is that it cannot connect to the internet. It has wifi but I can't figure out why it cannot get to wireless internet, much as it does detect the network. Everyone in the house is able to use the wireless on their phones and Hitachi but this phone sucks a million times, I have tried several times, including getting to face book but nothing fruitful, instead it tries to connect and then it goes 'unable to connect'

The user manual is the worst I have seen my entire life. If the manufacturer cannot understand that a user manual is supposed to guide someone on how to use a device, then they would better not waste time writing the manual for this phone. A manual is supposed to explain how a function operates, how it is operated, the advantages and disadvantages and what to do in case the function screws you up, but this manual is far from this. In the manual, there are only bullet points which are a repetition of what is in the list of contents, I was so disapointed that the manual is so useless, so useless and I repeat again 'so useless indeed'

I am still looking online to see how to best use this phone, however, there is not enough information online about this product and I thought that is a bummer, no reviews except the sales language that promote this phone by the manufacturer/sellers.

Friends, if you like to get this phone, be warned that you might face internet connection. I have only had it for a week, but I am sure I might find more flaws.
On another note, the call quality is really good, all the phone basics are okay including text messaging and pictures, etc, but if you like to explore different things using a phone, then this one is not the best.

However, I am still hopeful and continuing my search on how to get connected on the net. Some of the information I got on other sites indicate that this phone's connectivity works best on GSM network, which I have also failed. I am trying again for the next one week, and then I can ship back to Amazon for either a replacement or a refund.

If anyone has used this phone before and has been able to figure out what I am talking about here, I would appreciate their suggestions.

My daughter had dropped her old phone (lost we thought so we didn't think insurance would replace it) and when we found it a few days later all we could salvage was the SIM card (water damage and run over by a car). I looked all over the web for a replacement phone with a slide out QUERTY keyboard, AT&T compatible, and a full feature set at a good price. This V90 I found here on Amazon was advertised to be fully compatible with our carrier (AT&T) and had many features so after a lot of shopping around we ordered it. First of all the vendor was great, with the expedited shipping we had the phone in two days (ordered on a Thursday night, delivered on Saturday morning), then we took the phone out, put the battery in, put the old SIM card in, put it on the charger and within a couple minutes my daughter got a call from a friend! Everything worked and she was very happy with the look, feel, features, loaded apps, and slider keyboard. Phone came with a 2Gb micro memory card installed, earbuds, extra battery, and protective pouch as well as easy "quick setup" instruction and a booklet with full instructions. And, as advertised, it can support two SIM cards simultaneously which could really come in handy for a traveler. We've only had it now for a couple days but my daughter says it looks and acts like an IPhone only better and, importantly, with a slideout keyboard for texting.

I don't know why the other reviewer said cannot connect to Internet and send mms messages, I have AT&T account and didn't have any of the Internet/mms problem. In fact the phone had Internet/mms setting for AT&T & T-mobile already installed, All I had to do is simply activate it from the data account list. The WiFi feature was nice, I use it to surf Internet for free whenever possible.
The slide out full keyboard was very good too.
Overall it's a good buy for the price, especially I didn't have to commit 2 years contract. One thing to keep in mind is that not all seller provide Internet/mms settings, so ask seller first.

great phone for a person that will keep it safe. dont get it if you plan on dropping it alot, its not sturdy enough for that otherwise great phone

I'm 49 and have been in the computer/Internet industry for the past 25yrs and my last position as Director, Network Operations at iLoop Mobile gave me a little more experience in the cell phone industry.

I wanted to purchase a nice phone for my wife on her birthday on 11/08/2010 but hate the fact that all the networks want to "force" us into buying long term contracts so decided to try one of these "unlocked" phones from Asia. One thing I am not afraid to buy from Asia is a cell phone as they have been so far ahead of us in cell phone production/development that their products are far superior to ours, not withstanding the iPhone which I refuse to pay $500 for....

Anyway, this 911 phone has more features than most and the fact that it was wap/wifi capable and JAVA capable are HUGE benefits as there are thousands of java apps for cell phones now which makes the capabilities of this little phone almost unbelievable at this price...

CECT it appears has taken advantage of this niche market for people who do not want to be forced into long contracts as well as those who get hammered for large deposits due to their supposed "credit rating" and partnered with a few asian manufacturers to sell unlocked cell phones to the US, Australian and European markets and it appears they are doing a booming business and with the quality of this phone as an example I can see why!

My wife said "This is I think the best Birthday Present I've ever gotten" and I have spent thousands of dollars on her previous birthday presents so that was a bit surprising.....she took the phone into her bathroom and 3 minutes later the home phone rang and it was her calling from the new 911 phone using her old T-Mobile SIM Card! She slipped it in and it just worked....it also found our Home WAP (Wireless Access Point) automatically she said and all she did was type in the access key (its encrypted for security) and she was instantly on our wireless network and browsing the internet!

I'd say within 5 minutes she was not only making calls but surfing the web on her new 911 phone, it was that easy!

The manual basically sucks, but I am sure CECT told the manufacturers to cut costs wherever they can and so these phones are not for people who are not a little tech-savvy, like I had to search the internet to find the CECT website as there is no manufacturer or support info anywhere in the manual or phone so as I told my wife, I would never have considered buying one of these for my Dad who is in his 70's and knows enough to get and send email and surf the web but that is about it....

Bottom Line, for the money I doubt this phone and its features can be beat and if you or someone you may be buying this for are tech-savvy and not afraid of technology and having to do a little work to find the support you might need for the phone, its located here where they offer free online support through chat and email as well as the 1 year manufacturer warranty: [...] then I would say you can't loose buying this phone...it is so good I will be buying myself one, as my old but trusted and cool looking favorite Motorola Razor, although it is awesome as a basic cell phone, its time I move on to a smart phone too!

This phone is really nice, design, form.every time when i begin to manipulate my phone, alls my friends ask me where i bought it. In general, this phone has all the functions i wanted.WI-FI is very good, i have internet any where is available.I chat at facebook, yahoo, hotmail and... the connection is very quiet, the call and understating are just pretty.I use two Sims at the same time.Also, you i don't worry if i go some where out of usa. the sms and mms service too.
The only thing wrong with this phone is that i can't open heavy videos and you tube with. also, the quality of picture is not very good.
But i think i should advise any person who intent to get this phone, do not worry.it's quiet nice.I enjoy it................

i bought the v902 when i came to america because i had like what i saw on amazon. when the phone came i didnot expect the phone to have so much features. i fell in love with the phone instantly. i took it to jamaica where i am using it now i am very please with the phone it is a good phone

Save your money, this phone is not worth it. I had problems from the start after receiving this phone. The back cover was the problem that began the nightmare, I got it off it wouldn't go back on, or I should say " the cover went on" but kept coming off. I complained to the seller and here's the story as follows. I was told by the seller (located in Texas) that the manufacturer(in China) MIGHT be able to take the phone back and that he (the seller) would contact the manufacturer and take care of it for me. Well, it turned out it was going to cost me over $100.00 dollars to send the phone back to the manufacturer (in China). Naturally, I told the seller "No Way" that's ridiculous. I told the seller "you send the phone to china and you "eat the cost". Now, things change and the seller can suddenly fix the phone and suggests I send it to him. In my opinion, the seller should have stepped up to the plate from the start, with an offer to take the phone back. Ok, so the seller fixes the back cover and now we get to the phone. This phone has the looks and nothing else. I am very unhappy with it, and even more with the seller. I should have had a refund from the start. The seller has a 7 day return policy on this phone, that's absurd. By the time anyone would get to learn the phone the 7 days are up. Don't do it..save your money for a better phone or SELLER that backs their product.

Do not buy! It dosnet even look like the phone in the picture! I had the phone for two eeks and the sim card holder failed on me. I know it has two but that shouldnt happen so im send it back! oh yeah its really hard to use and im a 14 year old nerd.

First of all I love this phone! All the apps are cool and very easy to use.

I do agree about the manual it is very generic and will not give you any useful info out of it.

I am recently having one problem with it and that is i can not send pictures to anybody. I can recieve them fine though. It is not my contract with T-mobile because i have unlimited text and pics.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this problem i would greatly appreciate it.
