About the Author

In his youth, Dr. Bruce Forciea  (Wisconsin) was a rock guitarist, champion figure skater and budding scientist.  As a child he always had a keen interest in science and an insatiable curiosity about how things worked.  After graduating high school he traveled with a professional ice show and had a successful coaching career that included a year in Sydney, Australia.  After returning to the U.S. he worked as a laboratory and engineering technician.  His engineering job exposed him to digital circuit design and information theory.  His interest in science gradually evolved into a quest to learn about life and healing as he was struck with a serious illness.  He studied life sciences and psychology and earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from Eckerd College and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker College.  After graduating from professional school in 1993 he began practicing in his hometown.  Besides helping thousands of patients he also spoke at numerous local, national and international conferences.  In 2002, Dr. Forciea became a full-time instructor in anatomy and physiology for Moraine Park Technical College.  He continues to practice part-time, lecture and write about healing.

I really liked this book for a number of reason. The science supporting the premises is accessible and doesn't overwhelm the reader. The effects of alternative healing techniques are described as natural and explainable phenomena, grounded in real-world physics, and not the result of some kind of "magic". His theory of healing seems intuitive and obvious after it has been laid out; one almosts wonders why it hadn't been thought of before? Now, if only Big Insurance and Big Medical would read his book...

I am astonished by Dr. Forciea's new insight into what makes effective healing. That is, it is not conventional medicine, nor alternative medicine (two ways we have been taught about), but rather, the flow of information and the patient's ability to assimilate it that heals. Using Dr. Forciea's 7 Keys i.e. "Channels", I have been able to expand my belief that I have to choose from one of two sources i.e. an M.D. or chiropractor, for example, but that I can use many healing sources, including my own thoughts, to facilitate optimal health. Finally, Dr. Forciea's book works towards elilminating turf barriers common in the healthcare community by proving that information, not necessarily the technical discipline, is the catalyst behind healing.

It had nothing to do with the healing codes and was a con to sell his book.

I wanted more info on the healing codes.
