I tip my hat to "Unmasking The Passion.",

This review is from: Unmasking the Passion (Paperback)
I am an avid book reader and I make it a point to read first time authors. I read Dana Dorfman's "Unmasking The Passion," twice. First for work and then for pleasure. It is hard to conclude that this is her first published work. There is a seasoned flowing context to it that this literary buff has only found to exist in third time publications. I have used my research skills and have concluded that she is a first time published author as I find no sequels or other works in print but hopefully are in progress! This book is passion-filled yet peaceful. It is not limiting to the emotional senses but thought - provoking and as mentioned in her synopsis emotionally evoking. Understand your soul it cries out! And this reader responds with a gracious thank you for a book written with warmth, a touch of wrath and the epitome of sentiment. Miss Author- you have graced my shelf with literary wit and an author's charm. Someone is PA proper regards your book to be darn near masterpiece level. We are sure to hear more from you.

Wow!,

This review is from: Unmasking the Passion (Paperback)
This book is filled with thought-provoking poems and ideas. It is written from the writer's heart and soul and it touches upon universal experiences shared by all of us who have ever sought out a loving relationship with someone else.As I read the book, I kept saying to myself, "yeah, I've been there and felt that". Then I paused to think and reexamine my actions and feelings. The poems make the reader a better person, if the reader is willing to examine themselves a little deeper. The poems are easy to read, yet contain great depth of thought. If you're someone who is scared off by the idea of reading poetry, remembering all of those vague poems from Lit. Class, try this book. These poems are down to earth and touch the heart.

A New Love for Poetry,
By
This review is from: Unmasking the Passion (Paperback)
I read this book with a preconceived notion of "I don't like poetry so why should I read this one". I must now eat my words, for this book has changed my opinion forever. These poems are thought provoking, erotic, sad, clever, insightful and truth itself. I have never had anything touch my soul and make me remember all the joy and pain of a relationship. The good and the bad, from the first meeting through the relationship, to the end. Each poem kept me hooked until the end and then I wanted more. I hope this is just the beginning of such enlightenment. I can only hope that Ms. Dorfman has much more to share. A new devoted fan.
