This rich and varied recording would be a credit to any long-established artist, making its status as Mercer's debut release, all the more impressive.

The album shines from its bumpin' first track, all the way to the prayerful and sweet finale. In between is a beautiful body of wide-ranging, soul-felt works, featuring some terrific new singers and musicians. And how refreshing to hear lyrics that break away from the so-often-cliched rhetoric of the genre. At certain points, I could only weep--so heartfelt and real is this material.

Great album! Can't wait for the next one.

Your CD has really been a blessing to me. I purchased 10 copies of your CD and gave all but two away as gifts to my family and friends. The responses I've received back from them are awesome. I had one sister say that her husband was convicted by the Spirit, crying for hours, as she listed to Hannah's Song over and over.

I just purchased this CD and have been listening to it for three days straight! It is so addictive! Especially 'Hannah's Song'..it brought me to tears and sent me into a realm of worship I've never experienced before! Robert Mercer with Friends is definitely one of the best purchases I've made in a long time.

With his debut CD, Rob Mercer is well on his way to becoming an artist of acclaim in the world of contemporary gospel music. From start to finish, this album is FANTASTIC!... No need to skip over certain songs to get to the "good" ones....every song on this album is GOOD!... The writing, singing, music, and production quality make this a project well worth the money. This album has something for everyone. It is a treasured addition to my CD collection. Rob and his group of talented FRIENDS provide the listener with an exceptional ministry experience!!

I find myself singing songs from this cd often. The writting is so real the expression so anointed it's hard not to listen to this project multiple times a day.

A friend of mine was telling me about this CD & I thought she was just attracted to this dude and giving him more hype than he deserved. So I coped her CD to see what all the noise was about. Yo, the CD is nice. I'm vibin to Light, Where has the luv gone, the 80s Med, Praising You (Part 2) and Unmerited Favor. Oh yea, I went on-line and bought my own copy. OUT
