One thing we've learned in more than a decade of publishing Shout! is that Bills' fans appetite for information about their favorite team isinsatiable.
We were looking for a way to satisfy at least some of those cravings in a different way, and to have some fun with the information. So we came up with this book of lists.
This is not intended to be definitive, but representative. Some of the lists are statistical, but most are subjective. Those lists are intended to invite discussion: Was Scott Norwood's Super Bowl miss really the biggest moment in the team¹s history? Well, until Vincent Gallo makes a movie based on The Hit by Mike Stratton, we¹ll stick with Wide Right, upon which "Buffalo 66" was loosely based.
In going through the material in the pages of Shout!, Buffalo Bills Weekly and daily newspapers we came up with at least twice as many possibilities as we could include in this book. So who knows? There could be a volume two some day. From time to time, we'll include in Shout! lists that missed the cut for this book and revisit some that didn't. We also invite you to send us your own ideas for lists.
The book¹s format is simple. The left-hand page will have a list of up to 12 people, places, things or quotations from Bills history. The right-hand page will have a photo illustrating that list, and in some cases an explanation.
We've also added FastFacts, just for fun. Fun. That¹s what this book is about. Enjoy it.
About the Author
Lary Bump is senior editor of Shout! Newspaper, for which he has written since its inception in 1991. Bump covered his first Bills game in 1969. He has written about the team for the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, Buffalo Bills Weekly and The Associated Press, as well as Shout!
Mike Doser has covered the Buffalo Bills for Shout! Newspaper since 1998. Doser is a former sports editor for the award-winning Manassas (Va.) Journal Messenger and Potomac (Va.) News.

Great way to get into arguments,

This is a pretty entertaining book. I has a lot of lists that are subjective and you can easily argue with someone. For example, the Best Bruce Smith quotes about his contracts - Very funny or how about the Bills top ten worst draft picks. A great bathroom read as well.
