4.0 out of 5 stars Informative & comprehensive, July 6, 2000

This review is from: The Unofficial Guide to Homeschooling (Paperback)
I found this title to be extremely informative on the subject of homeschooling "how-to's". A comprehensive guide to the laws (state by state), formats, guidelines, etc... What I enjoyed most were comments from other homeschooling families. For an "Unofficial" book it has a lot of very helpful information!

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb, January 23, 2007

This review is from: The Unofficial Guide to Homeschooling (Paperback)
This is a great book. It is divided into well thought out paragraphs. It is not so much a how to book, in my opinion, but rather a cheerleader book. It provides the positives of homeschooling. It discusses in a very factual manner the statistics and the studies and provides some information about the lack of information the studies do show. It is interesting. It has stories from other homeschoolers, suggested websites for more information, and a lot of information. It is well worth reading if you are thinking of homeschooling.
