3.0 out of 5 stars Good For Background Information, June 7, 2000
This review is from: The Unofficial Guide to Hot Careers (Paperback)
This book contains descriptions of various careers that the author believes are hot, and includes links to sources of additional information. That's the good news. I would caution any reader to use this book only as background information for brainstorming. Many of the careers singled out in the book are difficult to get into and/or are very geographically limited. The descriptions of the careers in the book do not carry that caveat, and they should where applicable. Readers should identify what their career objective is and not just pick up this book and try to leap onto the bandwagon of a "hot" career.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting source of finding what jobs are out there., July 4, 2006

DISenchanted (NM USA -Land of DISenchantment) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Unofficial Guide to Hot Careers (Paperback)
Several careers I had not thought of.

Sources for the associations involved with the careers were in the back of the book.

I would probably purchase the current issue of the
Occupational Outlook Handbook 2006-2007 by (Jist Works).

Dated, but an interesting read.
