About the Author
David Elfin has covered the NFL and the Redskins for The Washington Times for 10 years. He authored three previous books about the Redskins: "Hail to RFK: 36 seasons of Redskins Memories", "America's Rivalry: The 20 Greatest Redskins-Cowboys Games" and "The Ultimate Washington Redskins Trivia Book" as well as "Cole Classics: Maryland Basketball's Leading Men and Moments." Elfin, the second Vice-President of the Pro Football Writers of America, lives in Bethesda, Md. with his wife, Loretta Garcia, and their daugheters, Julie and Amy.

I'd recommend passing on this item. Most importantly, it's dated. Published in 2002, it is not current and many of the records that are detailed have been broken. It's also just not that interesting. There are no color photos and the whole book just seemed dull. I purchased it as a gift and had to apologize for its lameness right after it was opened. I no longer have it in front of me so I can't tell you what else was disappointing. Save your money or get something else.
