$13 for one song?,

First things first, the song is decent. It isn't anything special, however. It is not on-par with any of the "O" tracks - both in songwriting and musically.
I know this is for charity - however, I'm not sure the amount that goes to charity is based on what you're spending to get the song. I decided to write this mini-review to inform folks looking at this that they can get the song on iTunes for just .99 - or you can get a package deal for $1.99 with a video for the song. The price here seems a little steep to me for a single.

Buy it at damienrice.com,

I just bought this CD at www.damienrice.com for $4.75 (or 3.00 euros on 4/10/08, prices may vary due to the dollar's value against the euro). If you're interested in supporting the democratic cause in Burma, consider also purchasing the double CD 'For the Lady' featuring various artists (including Damien Rice performing a live version of "Lonely Soldier") at uscampaignforburma.org (be sure to click the store button). Proceeds from both the 'Unplayed Piano' Single and the 'For the Lady' Double CD go to the Us Campaign for Burma or the Burma Campaign UK, just in case you can't read or comprehend what you are typing.

really is something special,

I beg to differ with the first reviewer. This song IS really special. However, the first reviewer is right that $13 is too much to pay for one song regardless of how good it is. I know it's for a relief effort though.

Damien Rules,

There isn't a song he has written, produced, or performed that doesn't strike a chord of emotional vulnerability. Absolutely beautiful.

Great song - great cause!,

If you care about injustice in the world and in the rights of people to choose their elected leaders (I think its called "Democracy", according to Mr. Bush!), then you should buy this CD. Only two tracks - one of which is an instrumental of the first track, but the proceeds go towards the campaign to free Aung San Suu Kyi in Myanmar, formerly Burma. The song itself is great, and the cause is even greater!

This seller provided excellent services, at a very good price. The cd I purchased is not generally available; therefore, I was surprised to see it offered for sale by the seller. The seller delivered the cd within the scheduled timeframe stated at the time of purchase. Thank you for providing very fast services.
