This game is truly a classic. To be frank, I would recommend this to anyone who is interested.

The graphics:
For anyone with a good or even decent graphic card it will be beautiful. The guns firing, the shadows, everything is well done and not a thing was overlooked. Even being a few years old, the graphics are still up to par.

Playing:
There is almost no limit to what you can do. Each battle, no matter how many times you play this game, will be different. Even the AI is fantastic. They are not overly bright but their skill level is amazing. There are many different difficulty settings. Starting with Novice and ending with Godlike with about seven modes in between. And let me say if there is someone out there that can master Godlike, I applaud you.

Overall it is a great game, even for its age. So my advice is get it. I did and I am glad that I did.

I was never into the first person shooters until Unreal Tournament came out. After playing all manner of mods and conversions for UT, then moving on to UT2003, I finally came to rest on this beast. Although the graphics in Unreal 3 are certainly better, I can't really say it's any more enjoyable, and for some it would be less so thanks to the higher system requirements. In my humble opinion, UT2k4 is the pinnacle of the Unreal franchise, and no fan of FPS should be without it.
