hey i'm 17 and part of this generation that seems to be asleep well all i can say that if there is a book that is really meant to wake ppl up and encourage them to pray and struggle in that secreat place this is the book to do it the thing i love most about this book is that it does not leave you hanging. most books give you that encouragement that power that burning to stand up and start praying and serving the lord and then the next day you get hit with a spiritaul 2x4 right in the head and your back on the ground again well this book prepares you to duck and how to face those hits so that your prayer life and truly living for god does not cease very few books make it on my read again books but since i've had this in early november i've read it 5times i would totally recomend getting a copy for a yourself and everyone eles you know!!!!

This book will expose the deceitful trick of the enemy to get the people of God to not use the greatest weapon that God has given us for victory. Prayer.
Prayer is the link God has chosen for us to use to access all that He has to offer...which is immeasureable. It is the key to intimacy with Him. It is the key to victory in life.
This books helps you to understand the importance of prayer. It also brought conviction, not comdemnation, to my own life for the prayerlessness that has plagued me. With the conviction came a desire to do the very thing the enemy of our souls fights so hard to get us not to do.

I have read many a book written by Bob Sorge--all of which have changed my life and ignited my passion for God. Like many of his other works, "Unrelenting Prayer," encourages the believer to seek God with abandonment and not give in to the temptation to give up when prayers go seemingly unanswered. As is his imitable style, Sorge directs the focus toward Jesus and the pursuit of Him. He points out that even in the midst of discouragement and despair, God loves us and is there when He seems so far away, and for that reason, we should be encouraged to persevere in prayer and not relent, as God is always faithful. Bob Sorge clearly explains that God in His sovereignty and holiness reckons time differently than we, and since He is the director of our destinies we can trust Him to engineer a delay when He deems it appropriate, and He can deliver an answer in His own timing. He reiterates throughout the book the love and care of God as well has His divine sovereignty. We can trust that even when we do not understand His movements, He is committed to our success and any delay to answered prayer is only to perfect us and bring about a best result to bless us and glorify Him. This is a must-read for those of you desiring the ability to persevere in prayer when everything in and around you tells you your efforts are futile. For surely Satan's greatest diabolical feat would be to shut our mouths and extinguish the fire of our communication with God.

I recommend the author and the book. For those who have suffered long, this book will help restore hope to your life. It helped me to view the injustice in my life through a different lense. It was a very encouraging book to never give in, and never give up, no matter how long the wait.

This book inspired a hope in me to pray, after being a christian for many years and sometimes waiting long and suffering much we sometimes need to know that we have never been forgotten by God. Keep hoping, expecting, and please keep praying ! I loved this book

This book is amazing!!!!! I can't even begin to even give it justice. However if you are in a place that you are questioning weather God will still do what He promised after so many years of loss. This is the book for you.

Bob Sorge knows the heart of God, and he knows how to explain what God is saying in a langauage we can all understand. The book deals with the parable in Luke 18 and how the widow relentlessly talks to the jusdge to get justoce for her. you can definitely feel the spirit of God in this book.
