5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME!, November 12, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Unscripted (Wwe) (Hardcover)
The photography in this book is amazing. Like most coffee table books, I assumed the words would be borring and the focus would be on the images. I was wrong! Even my mom, who is not a wrestling fan, thought it was the best coffee table book she ever read!

4.0 out of 5 stars glimpses of the lives of the wrestlers, May 11, 2004
By
This review is from: Unscripted (Wwe) (Hardcover)
"Unscripted" is a coffee table style book from World Wrestling Entertainment. It focuses on the WWE Superstars and gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the Superstars and their lives. The book is broken up into three sections, each with the focus on a different aspect of the Superstars' life. In each section, a Superstar gets a two page spread that has photography and something written by the Superstar about his or her life (or career).

I wouldn't say that "Unscripted" is in depth, by any means, but it does gives us descriptions of the lives of the wrestlers that we would not ordinarily have. For example, Chris Jericho writes about how he does not have an ego about what he does because when he gets home his wife still makes him take out the garbage. The Undertaker wrote about how he had almost played professional basketball and how he decided to turn to the ring. Kurt Angle wrote about wrestling in the Olympics with a broken neck and why he did it. Each wrestler gives a little glimpse into their lives, what they do, and why. We really just get a glimpse of the wrestling world through the eyes of the wrestlers. As a fan of the WWE product, I found this to be interesting (if less in depth than, say, Mick Foley's autobiography). This is a coffee table book, however, so there are many pictures and not too much text. This is one you can pick up, look at a two page spread, and then put down again to peruse at your leisure.

5.0 out of 5 stars A really good read, January 30, 2004
By
This review is from: Unscripted (Wwe) (Hardcover)
Unscripted is one of the best books I have ever read,
and I highly recomend it.

The pictures are just wonderful, simply amazing.
The wrestlers that are in Unscripted really give a good
hard look into the wrestling world and there personal lifes.

The pictures and writing that Unscripted shows lets you look at wrestlers in a light that you havent seen them in before.
Take the Stephanie McMahon and Triple H pictures for example, you can really see the love that they have for each other in it,
that you wont see on tv.

Other pictures like one of Torrie Wilson are just really good shots.
There are others like that thorugh out the entire book.

Unscripted lets you see things like; how proud Vince and Linda McMahon are of there kids Shane and Stephanie.
How Triple H, The Rock, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesner, Ric Flair and
Edge all look at the wrestling world thorugh there eyes.

Unscripted also gives you a look at the wrestlers personal lifes, like how The Undertaker and his wife met, and how Kurt Angle talks about how he broke his neck, and how he won his gold medals at the '96 olympics with the broken neck.

All in all this is a good book, it's a good read also. If you like wrestling you'll really, really like this book, if you like to read, you'll like this book, if you like wrestling books, you'll LOVE this book! So go out and buy this book you wont regret it!
