5.0 out of 5 stars wow!, August 20, 2003

Adema's new LP is a huge step forward from their debut album (which i really love). Much like their EP "Insomniac's Dream", The Unstable disc has a great feel to it. The harder songs like "unstable", "co-dependant" and "stressin'" are less hateful angry, they still get you pumped up, but without making you feel down at the same time, and the lyrics are still really great. Marky's voice is more stable (pun not intended..) and his screams sound awesome. A good suprise on this album are some of the softer songs, such as "so fortunate" (about having a new child in the world), "Let Go" (an inspiring song that makes you feel great), and "do you hear me" (about someone who's gone now, awesome chorus) And if you want a taste of Adema's debut, "needles" is about someone who's at the breaking point of using drugs, and it's really energetic and fast. Overall Adema's new disc keeps the reasons I first liked them alive, and expands on that by being a more melodic and enjoyable album. It hasn't left my cd player since I got it, you should look into it if you want a great rock cd! The dvd is a nice bonus, with 4 music videos and some cool behind the scenes footage.

5.0 out of 5 stars Adema rule, July 4, 2004

Ok, where to start. Adema are an amazing band. Some people may just think that they're tryin to follow in Korns footsteps, but they're not. As it shows in Ademas latest album "Unstable" They've changed. Both their previous albums, (Insomniacs Dream Ep and self titled album Adema), where good, and alot of the songs where quite heavy, which is great, but i think they're new album is just as good but in a different way. They've got softer songs on the album. e.g Promises, So fortunate. Although these songs aren't particuarley heavy, they are still really good. Promises in my opinion is one of the best songs on the album, and even if you don't like "So fortunate" you've got to appreciate what the songs about... Mark Chavez has an amazing voice and i think he uses it well on the album. I noticed one person that obviously can't spell said that Mark Chavez writes like a 2 year old, this isn't true, just because the lyrics are simple doesn't automatically make the song crap. Lyrics don't have to be complex in order for a song to be good E.g "Rip the heart out of me" and "Stressin out" aren't that complex, but they're great songs, they're quite heavy and have a kick ass tune.If you're a fan of Adema, or lookin for a new band to listen to, definately buy this album! xxx

I'm sorry to all of the hardcore Adema fans that slag off this album but come on this is ace! so much better than their self-titled album that they released a few years ago. musically adema have moved on lightyears and now they actually play music that is in time with each other an in the same key. i highly recommend this album
best songs:
Rip The Heart Out Of Me 10/10
Co-Dependant 10/10
Stand Up 9/10
