I've been looking forward to this CD since I learned my favorite vocalist was working on an album made up of songs he was helping compose. Knowing Daniel to sing from his heart, I knew he was surely going to write from his heart. I was not disappointed. His past efforts at composing have been memorable, and these surely will bring acclaim as well.

There is such a nice variety of easy-listening songs that have you humming the melodies and singing the meaningful words after just a few play-throughs. To make it even easier, the words are printed in the cover booklet along with very handsome photos of Daniel. The arrangements are delightful with varied instrumental accompaniment. I am very impressed with this album and rank it with my favorite CD's. I think you will enjoy it and not be disappointed.

It is difficult to name a favorite song, because each one has significance. I will say that "Tonight I've Held My Future", "Wherever You Are", "Should I", "Beyond the Rainbow's End", and especially "Don't Break My Heart" stand out for me, even though they chose other songs to put out on promotion singles.

First I have to admit to being a huge fan of this singer, so I will try to be objective (difficult) He is such a versatile singer, and this time he has actually shared in the writing of all the songs on this CD. And it offers some outstanding songs. The title track is my personal favorite, being a song he wrote especially for his fans. Wherever You Are is another favorite, and Should I is an outstanding song, both co-written by the great Irish songwriter Marc Roberts, who co-writes several of the songs on this CD. Marc Roberts, a wonderful singer as well (but little known in America) contributes his tender lyrics and ballads in a moving and emotional way. If you are a Daniel O'Donnell fan already, you need to have this latest CD, and if you've never discovered him.....why, you simply do not know what you're missing!! Give this one a try or one of Daniel's many other albums. I highly recommend for starters his "Irish Album" if you love traditional irish songs done beautifully....It is a great two disc collection.
On other Cds, he sings american country, and ballads. His voice will caress you, and if you are ever fortunate to meet him in person (yes, he meets all his fans after his shows) he will win you over with his humility and down to earth, gentle manner. He appears twice yearly in Branson to sold-out audiences at TriLakes Center, and tours internationally all year. His most recent DVD debuted at the top of the UK charts, ahead of U2. He will appear on PBS stations all over the USA in March 2007.
Give him a listen. Try several...:)

His style is a little different. I really enjoy listening to it. One of his best albums!!!

I bought this for my father. He absolutely loves this CD..one of Daniel O'Donnell's best!

This Daniel O'Donnell album is one of his best! All of the songs were either written or co-written by Daniel, proving that this man is not only a wonderful singer, but he is also a great song writer! There are 15 songs, most are Daniel's easy listening smooth style. Some are ballads, others have the "Daniel" beat! Mr. O'Donnell's smooth style reminds many seniors of times gone by, and most of his audience is over 60 years old!
There is also a really nice song titled "My Lovely Island Home" which was written by Daniel's mother,Julia, now 87 years old. She wrote the song, and he put it to music...a really good listen, try this album!

As a long time fan of Daniel O'Donnell I must say this is one of the best
CD's he has done. The music is easy listening and is a wonderful addition to my collection

Daniel can certainly bring tears to your eyes with this one. I truly love it.

I am very pleased with this CD and I get so much enjoyment listening to it. I would recommend it to anybody thinking about, or wondering if it
is worth buying.
