5.0 out of 5 stars Timeless!
I've read reviews before where readers have stated that the book was so good they couldn't put it down..... Melanie Schuster has written a book that fits that statement to a T!

Until the End of Time gives us a deeper look into the lives of Andrew and Renee who were introduced to us in Lucky in Love. Their relationship began 17 years earlier when Renee was roommates...

1.0 out of 5 stars Maybe the next time!
This book was horrible. The only reason I finished it was because I'd purchased it. I did not enjoy it at all. It was boring and very unrealistic.

I've read reviews before where readers have stated that the book was so good they couldn't put it down..... Melanie Schuster has written a book that fits that statement to a T!

Until the End of Time gives us a deeper look into the lives of Andrew and Renee who were introduced to us in Lucky in Love. Their relationship began 17 years earlier when Renee was roommates with Andrew's twin sister Bennie (Lucky in Love). Renee and Andrew's relationship first began to change when he mistakenly saw Renee in a state of undress while visiting Bennie's dorm. Renee has never been completely sure that Andrew saw anything but the possibility was enough. Since then, they've teased, embarrassed and barely put up with each other, but the people who know them best know that there is something more to their relationship, no matter how hard Andrew and Renee try to fight it. And of course, turnabout is fair play when Renee gets a surprise viewing of her own! Renee and Andrew began to explore their own feelings and realize that sometimes the love of our lives can be found where we never thought to look. Their love for each other is tested by a secret from the past and circumstances beyond their control but the support of their friends and family, and of course their love, helps them stand strong.

Once again Melanie Schuster has offered us a look into the lives of real people. Each character is rich with history and depth. A wonderful combination of strong character development and storytelling that leaves the reader both fulfilled and excited to learn what will happen next in the lives of the characters. Congratulations Ms. Schuster, and continued success!

On the advice of many friends(a lot of them men)I purchased "Until the End of Time".I have to say it was the best buy I'm made in many years.Melanie has crafted a intelligent, fast paced, enjoyable story. Her writing style is well researched. You get a fly on the wall perspective of the characters lives.Be prepared to laugh while reading this tale of a couple who go from foes to lovers. The tie in with here previous book sent me rushing out to get "Lucky in Love"as well.Enjoy Ms.Schuster's work.I can't wait for the movie.

My heart races when I am able to get my hands on a book that I cannot put down. Until the End of Time is a must read. Melanie's style of writing keep you wanting more. I'm a true Brenda Jackson fan, and now I'm a Melanie Schuster fan. Both writers capture the essence of love and all of its twists and turns. I love romance books that incorporate family and friends and the affects they have on a budding relationship. I have been fortunate to read Lucky in Love as well and I must say that books like these are truly page turners. Melanie's books affect you from the beginning to the end. One book guides you to the next one, and so on and so forth. I enjoy Melanie's writing because you know there will be bigger stories to come due to the families that are involved (Cochran and Deveraux clan). I cannot wait to read how Martin and Ceylon will forge a relationship, as well as the mysterious Dr. John Flores, and who can forget the impetuous Angelique. This is a sign of a true writer when you have enough imagination and talent to introduce so many characters into one book/story line and not lose the reader in the process. Continued success Melanie Schuster.

5.0 out of 5 stars Until the End of Time Indeed!, February 22, 2003
This review is from: Until The End of Time (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
I thought this book was great! It had humor, witty dialogue, colorful characters, and an interesting story premise. This book was my introduction to Ms. Schuster's writing skills and I must say that I am impressed! In this book, Andrew Cochran (Benita's twin brother from Lucky in Love, which is another must read)and Renee Kemp (Benita's best friend)finally get together. For the past 17 years Andrew has teased Renee since he saw her in her "birthday suit" in college. The situation sparked his amusement and proves to be an annoyance for her. That is, until she gets her own peek at Mr. Andrew Cochran...
Now, with the two of them on an equal playing field the sparks start to fly! He's drawn to her kindness and wit and she's drawn to his compassion for his profession and sense of humor. Since the relationship is so new they keep it a secret for a while, though people gradually begin to figure it out. There's just 1 problem... she's got a secret that she's got to reveal before the relationship goes any further.
I loved how Andrew proved to be both her friend and lover. He was always there for her and as a result she learned what it meant to give and take in a relationship. As she and Andrew contemplate marriage, their relationship is put to the test! The secret becomes important b/c the man responsible for her pain is entering into a business alliance that effects her future in-laws! There are numerous twists and turns to the story and the presence of the other family and friends truly enhances this love story. I hope Ms. Schuster plans to write all about the rest of the Cochran and Deveraux clan. I would love to read a story on Adam and Donnie Cochran!! Though I'm also anxious to read Martin and Ceylon's story. Overall, this story was WONDERFUL! If you don't have it, go cop it! It's a 1 day read that you will not want to put down!

5.0 out of 5 stars I Could Not Put It DOWN!!!, May 2, 2005
This review is from: Until The End of Time (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
Renee and Andrew endure 17 years of what I gathered as "Foreplay", but in the end it was worth the wait! I couldn't believe I enjoyed this book so much. I hadn't read many books in over 10 years, I picked this book up on a whim and I was mad because I didn't get it when it first came out!! Oh My Goodness! Melanie's style of writing is amazing!! The characters are so down to earth. They are "real" people who have "real" issues! I can truly relate to these poeple. I mean you just feel like you have become part of the family. Melanie you are an amazing writer

Renee and Andrew's love was in such abundance. I have read this book at least for times. That' s how good and well developed Cochran/Deveraux stories are. Melanie Schuster is and excellent storyteller. Renee and Andrew were two of my favorites. They were perfect together, and Andrew was totally devoted to Renee even before they became a couple. A MUST READ!!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars I would rate this 4.5 stars, August 30, 2006
This review is from: Until The End of Time (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
Ok I enjoyed this book, this story runs parallel with Lucky in Love and takes you behind the scenes of the romance hinted at in the first book. But I could not get past the continuity problems. In this book Andrew is 35 years old and gets together with Renee the same year his sister gets together with Clay. In the first book Benny is said to be reaching her 32nd birthday-how can that be if she and Andrew are twins? The first book ends with Andrew's engagement to Renee after his sister's accident and lose of the first child about 8 months after Bennie's wedding to Clay which took place before Thanksgiving. This book state that Andrew and Renee get married during the Christmas/New Year break and no mention is made of the major accident that happened to Bennie. This may seem small but since I read these books back to back it left me a little puzzled.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book!, February 28, 2003
This review is from: Until The End of Time (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
What a great book! I must say that I enjoyed it immensely and I now consider myself one of Mel Schuster's biggest fans. Ms. Schuster is an up and coming author that everyone should keep an eye out for. In my opinion she can hold her own in the company of veterans like Francis Ray and Brenda Jackson.
The story of Renee's and Andrew's relationship created many fireworks, but through all the passion they were able to overcome some major issues. A bonus about this book is that these characters were introduced in her first novel Lucky in Love, which was also an excellent, excellent read! Read all her books they are wonderful!
