Ridiculously bad,

A truly nonsensical offering in light of such a well-told and utterly enjoyable Christmas movie. Is filmed like a middle-school media project with what seemed like camcorders doled out to actors for home setups throughout, and is overall a 78-minute disappointment that flies in the face of what should have been. Had an obnoxious focus on fan interviews and excluded most of the main characters (nothing from Ralphie, Schwartz, Mom or Dad). If you have any respect for The Christmas Story, you may want to pass on this one.

Any fan of the movie would enjoy the behind the scene stories shared here. Many details not listed in the anniversary DVD of Christmas Story. I liked it, wish it had the star reliving flashbacks as well.
