I sing in this choir and it is the most amazing experience. This is quite possibly the best thing i have ever done. If you like this, try some of pelagos' other releases. If you have a kid around eight in ct, have them try out. And listen to my solo on pie jesu, number 8, with elena! Chorus Angelicus is an incredible choir, and paul halley is an extraordinary director. Untraveled Worlds will not disappoint you.

The best experience ever!,
By Rachel Cunningham (New Hartford, CT USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Untraveled Worlds (Audio CD)
My name is Rachel Cunningham and I am from New Hartford,Ct. I have sung in this chior since I was eight and now this year will be my seventh year. It is about the best experience I have ever lived through. Paul Halley is a wonderful director and his son, Nick, and the rest of the staff of Joyful Noise is just amazing. We have been to Seatle, Vancouver, Victoria, Florida, and this past summer we went to Ireland. I know you will enjoy this CD as much as I have enjoyed being in Chorus Angelicus. After each perfomance, I find myself smiling like I and the rest of the chior has done a terrific job. I really hope you enjoy it and if you have any kids who live in the Northwest Connecticut area between the ages of 8-15, please encourage them to try out for this wonderful chorus.

Sacred Music That Can Appeal to Anyone,

If you like choral music, sacred music, or just plain pretty music, you will love this CD. Chorus Angelicus is well known in CT for its local concerts of breathtaking beauty, often featuring traditional sacred music from classical composers such as Faure and Rutter. This CD branches out a bit into songs from other traditions, including some nearly rollicking presentations. True to director Paul Halley's style, as always the chorus sounds sweet, haunting, and clear. Every note is perfectly realized, and those young sopranos on the highest notes will send chills up your neck. Great for the holidays or any time.
