I bought this for a gift, but it's certainly not worth gifting. I like the pearls, but what really takes away from the necklace is the rest of the chain. It's cheap looking, and very weak. If you're looking for something to wear as casual jewellery, it might work, but if you're trying to dress up, this is not the necklace. I am sending it back, I'll have to find another gift for my friend.

The set is undoubtedly beautiful, but the quality was a less than I was expecting. The chain is downright cheap, and the metal is of mediocre quality. From a distance it's fine, but I wouldn't want anyone examining it up close. My first step is going to be to replace the chain with something more delicate, and eventually I might use the pearls and have the piece copied with higher quality materials. The design is fantastic, the execution is worth the $30 I paid for it. *Definitely* not worth the original listed price of $130.

Horrible product. Unfortunately, I have to keep this product because the clasp broke when I tried opening the already non-functioning clasp. It may look pretty but don't go for its cheap price. You will get a horrible product if you decide to order this set.

I bought this as a gift - and I'm returning it - it's sad, looks so pretty on the website but when I saw it in person it looks like something you buy at the dollar store, very very cheap!

If this product cost $10, it might be worth keeping, but at $30, the necklace should have arrived in one, rather than two pieces. The metal is very cheap feeling and the overall impression I got is NOT WORTH IT.

Advertised to have a retail value of $129. It MIGHT have been worth the $19.95 I paid. Also, both the bracelet AND necklace were missing one end of the clasp. Was going to use it as a bride's maid gift, but will now have to find something else, AND it will cost me about half the purchase price to return it.

this jewelry set is junk. The photo makes it look really nice but it is junk and the chain on necklace will probably break the first time you wear it.Amazon does have a great return system and plenty of other great jewelry

Made of extremely cheap materials. The pearls were pretty, but much smaller than the picture shows. The size of the pearls, in addition to the malformed settings, allowed for 2 pearls to fall out as I removed the set from the packaging. The bracelet had a broken clasp, which had been bent closed. The settings for the necklace are not smooth like the picture, they are dimpled to match the bracelet.

In short, the pearls were pretty, but the jewelry was unwearable from defect and poor quality.

The description says the list price for these is $130, but seriously doubt it. I wouldn't pay more than $5 if I saw these in a store.

This item came bent and broken into several pieces. Although it arrive on time it was unusable. I'm very in happy and disappointed with this company's service. I'm not happy about the one star I didn't want to give any stars but it seems you have to in order to review an item.

This isn't a bad set if you understand that twenty dollars is the absolute most you should pay for it and that the $130 "list price" is a joke. There's nothing unusual about this set. Go to a certain well-known auction site, type in "freshwater pearl set," and up pop many sets that look just like this one, that you can purchase straight from the country of origin, China, often for as little as seven to nine dollars, shipping included, and often with a ring as well as the other pieces. The metal used is a zinc alloy, which may or may not be plated with white gold. Much of the chintzy look of the necklace, in particular, comes from the cheap chain used to stretch the seven or eight inches of pearl into a length that can pass as a necklace. If you don't mind sacrificing the bracelet, don't have a plump neck, and are fairly handy with jewelry, simply detach the pearl-less links of chain from the necklace and bracelet, and then hook the pearled links together. Presto: a respectable-looking pearl choker. But please don't pay twenty dollars for this and think you're getting a hundred-dollar-plus item. You'll instead be paying a premium price for a cute but low-quality item.
