I FIRST LEARNED ABOUT THESE GUYS , FROM AN INDEPENDENT HEAVY METAL MAILORDER CATALOG COMPANY.I WAS VERY IMPRESSED OUT HOW TALENTED THESE GUYS ARE ..THEIR SINGER HAS ONE INCREDIBLE VOICE !!AND AT TIMES REMINDS ME OF MESSIAH MARCOLIN OF
'' CANDLEMASS '' OR THE SINGER FROM THE 80'S BAND '' MALICE ''..THE MUSIC IS HEAVY , FAST , AND CATCHY , AS WELL AS SHOWCASING THIS BAND'S DIFFERENT MUSICAL TASTES AND THE BANDS THAT INFLUENCED THEIR SOUND AND STYLE AS WELL..-AS CAN BE WITNESSSED IN THEIR MUSIC.YOU CAN HEAR TRACES OF SUCH BANDS AS:''AGENTSTEEL '' ''NEVERMORE '' ''SANCTUARY'' ''CANDLEMASS '' AS WELL AS '' MALICE ''.WHICH ALL IN ALL MAKES FOR A PLEASANT MIX..I ALSO MANAGED TO PICK UP THEIR OTHER CD '' ASTROLOGY '' AND IT ROCKS HARD TOO !! JUST LIKE OLD '' SAVATAGE '' AND THE OTHER BANDS THEY REMIND ME OF.SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT A RETURN TO THE GOOD OLE METAL DAYS.WHEN POWER METAL WAS AT IT'S BEST , THAN THIS IS THE BAND FOR YOU !!THEY ARE REALLY GOOD AND I BET THE NEXT ALBUM WILL BE AS GREAT AS THEIR FIRST 2 RELEASES..SO GET IT TODAY AND TURN IT UP LOUD !!

I wish I had bought Cage's CDs in the same order they came out. By not listening to them in chronological order its hard not to compare this CD to their later ones. While not my favorite Cage CD, it doesn't change the fact that Unveiled is an excellent album, debut or otherwise and can stand on its own merits. The lyrics and vox of Sean Peck is outstanding. The technical skill and music craft of the rest of the band is great as well. Their debut CD is better than a lot of third, fourth, or even tenth efforts by most other bands. If this is the first CD you are considering buying from Cage I highly recommend it. It is a good indication of the greatness yet to come.
