I use this product to hold my phone in Iraq for a Military Transition team. I stuck this to my windshield back in August when I got the holder and it hasn't moved since. It has held on though some of the most destroyed roads in the Diala Province and the roughest terain in Iraq. It made it through the 130 degree heat of the Iraqi summer and it is still stuck to the windshield during the moderate winter months.

I can honestly say that for the conditions that I have put this product through it should hold up just fine in your car.

Can't think of a better product for the money.

I mounted the holder with super glue and it works great! I had my doubts that the suction cup would work and I was right, but now that it's attached with super glue, it is awesome. It's the perfect fit for my iPhone and makes it much safer to drive and operate the iphone if need be.

This is a convenient device, and I actually appreciated it for the short while it worked. The first problem came when the foam that protects the phone fell off. This was an easy fix- a little super glue did the trick.

The next problem came when the expansion spring-like vise that holds the phone snug began to act up. When you put the phone in, you open the vise, place the phone in, and then snug it up. After a couple of months, this became a difficult manuever, with the vise getting jammed regularly.

The final straw was when the suction cup stopped working properly, leaving me with the entire setup falling down at the most inopportune times. Strike three, into the landfill you go.

A piece of junk, but you may enjoy it for a couple of months before it falls apart. I'm looking for something better.

This product is does what it's supposed to do, and it's like you get a GPS machine (soon turn-by-turn, according to rumors) through your iphone. You can even "watch" TV shows (though not live TV), movies, and other videos by plugging the iPhone into your car speaker system through FM signal or tape cassette adapter.

All in all, a very handy product, priced the way it should be. The only drawback is that it will periodically come loose from the windshield--you just have to make sure to wet the suction cup thoroughly. But if you have a clean, smooth, flat place on your dash, it would work better by not hanging upside down.

This product is so noisy and cheap I couldn't stand leaving mounted! Buy a better one. Don't waste your money on this garbage. O yea I bought two, both broke before use. And they were awesome enough to send me two more immediately!! Nicely done guys!!

Heavy duty, very good quality.

I have a Jeep Wrangle 2008 and this product sticks to the windshield no problem. The trick with ALL suction cup devices is to CLEAn your windshiled surface with rubbing alcohol, then stick on the product. Hasnt fallen off at all, holds my ipod touch FANATASTIC!

Items does exactly what it advertises. It's cheap and holds a phone that has a protective skin (which was important to me) just fine. I highly recommend

I read some of the reviews about the suction cup, etc. I don't know if they made improvements or we have an extra sticky window, but has worked perfectly for us. Low cost for clever gadget.

The Universal Car Windshield Mount Holder for the Apple Ipod Touch doesn't "suck" onto the windshield tight enough to hold while driving. It shakes, rattles and rolls right off.

The only reason I keep buying these is because they're so cheap, but the problem is that I have to keep buying them. With daily use, these break in as little as a month of use. When you push the sides together, it's supposed to lock into place, but eventually the cheap plastic just breaks on the inside and it will randomly start springing back out. It's not worth the effort when your phone can just drop onto the dashboard while you're driving. This goes without mentioning the suction cup everyone is having problems with. I ended up not using it, so I didn't have to deal with it falling off constantly.

Also, you don't receive the item in the first 5 product images. The one you do actually get is the 6th image, which is definitely worse looking and provides significantly less support for your phone.
