At the request of her aging, ailing aunt, Jessica Moore, a young schoolteacher, goes undercover to solve the old unsolved murder of a wealthy industrialist. To do so effectively, she rents rooms in the murdered man’s mansion, which is reputed to be haunted and which his ancient housekeeper, Mrs. Johnson has mysteriously inherited. But as Jessica enters, she knows she is being watched. What she, nor the ancient housekeeper know, however, is that two men are hiding inside the vast old place, watching Jessica’s arrival and plotting to kill her – tonight.

I used an authentic haunted house for the setting in Unwilling Killers. Although I changed the name of the house, I kept the decor, floor plans, etc. in tact. I have also drawen upon interviews of occupants of the house who describe ghostly events. I have blended these into the story line.

More About the Author
Ayn Hunt is a Texan who learned about ghosts the hard way. She had a vocal, active ghost visit her for several weeks. During his stay, she started writing a story starring him. More books followed and she started writing romances under the pen name of Ayn Amorelli.

Suspense abounds in Unwilling Killers,

In Unwilling Killers, there is not just one murderer on the loose, but two. Set in an authentic haunted house, Jessica, a school teacher enters to find clues as to who killed the late owner. Unknown to her, there are two men hiding in the house who decide they must kill her. Into this melee an eccentric ancient housekeeper, a rapist, a burglar and a good cop gone bad figure promininently. This is a real page turner and the ending is a tear-jerker as Jessica is stalked throughout by men determined to kill her.
