Won't work with the Unwired 805 or 808 series of FRS! (wrong type of plug) Does not have a VOX/PTT switch, but what do you expect for about ...? Works well with the Midland 75515XLBPR FRS because of it's built in VOX/PTT switch. Good sensitivity and clarity.

This model of VOX speaker/microphone is not for the UFR8082, however it works just fine with the Midland 75515XL line of radios. It has good sensitivty without catching every stray noise. Best to use as a throat-mike in the Midland 75515XL.

Bought 2...not worth returning, but they're not VOX, the mike is hard-wired to be permanently on. Ripped the mic plug off with some pliers & using it as an earpiece-only.
