Ex-Gangsta, Irish Baines turned over a new leaf after being released from prison. Attempting to right the numerous wrongs he's committed in his lifetime, he opens an outreach center named No Limitz. Noire is such an amazing author that she simply can not be contained in any one category or genre! Her style surpasses your imagination as she carries the reader on such a magnificent voyage that transcends all heights and dimensions. Emotionally draining with the intense scenes that will have your heart racing while the tears stream down your face as your mentality delves into the recesses of which the characters reside. Unzipped enthralls you with feelings of insanity, grief, revenge, sexual prowess, love, hate, evil and death. I'm speechless! Noire...Unzipped...unequivocally amazing!

UNZIPPED by Noire is the story of one woman, Pearl Baines, who lost so much at the hands of a ruthless drug dealer. This is Pearl's story on why she became...unzipped and what she does in order to seek vengeance.

Diamond and Pearl Baines are the twin daughters of one of the most respected, legendary, former drug dealers in Harlem, Irish Baines. Irish rehabilitated himself and opened up an outreach center for other young men to try and save them from the streets. Unfortunately, he was unable to tame his wild and out-of- control teen daughters.

At the age of 14, both Diamond and Pearl became pregnant. Diamond, the wilder twin, would not leave the streets or the drugs alone, even while she was pregnant. Pearl, after becoming pregnant, realized she was on the fast track to nowhere, so with the help of her loving parents, she managed to pull herself up out of the ghetto. When tragedy strikes, she becomes unzipped and Pearl will stop at nothing to get revenge on those who altered her life.

UNZIPPED by Noire was an action-packed reading adventure, that had me quickly turning the pages. UNZIPPED has all the elements of a good street-lit tale. In reading this though, I felt as if the story was written a little too ghetto; all of the characters seemed to talk the same, not really distinguishing each characters' own individuality. Also, a few things did not seem to make sense and certain key elements were unbelievable. All in all, this was a pretty good read that Noire fans are sure to enjoy.

I really enjoyed this latest book by Noire,I have been a fan of her novels since she released G-Spot.This book held my attention from the first till the last page.My heart truely went out to Pearl and her family and I actually felt her pain.Noire has a way of penning novels that will bring out all kinds of emmotions.I highly recommend this book and you won't be dissapointed!!

This was a different read from Noire's previous book, but I enjoyed it. I thought Diamond had a little James Bond going on for a minute the way she single handling took out her enemies with her tactical skills. If you like drama with romance this is the book to read. Don't miss out Noire never disappoints.

When the twins were fourteen, their father reformed gangster Irish Barnes' top gun Scotch made love to both of them. He left Harlem after impregnating Diamond and Pearl. Nine months later on Christmas Day each gave birth. Their parents raise the grandchildren as Pearl makes something of herself becoming an FBI Agent while Diamond continues clubbing.

It has been seven years since the kids were born; gangster Mookie Mason slowly drowns Diamond and his goons tie up Irish, his wife and their grandchildren before setting the place on fire. However, Mookie made one mistake; he left a family survivor and she is coming for them using their sex as a weapon.

This is an exciting erotic noir starring a delightful avenging angel who goes after her family's killers one at a time. The story line is fast-paced, but character driven as Noire sets the stage with the background of the twins before Mookie kills the Barnes family. Thus the key to this super urban thriller is the erotica is a tool used by the avenger. Readers will root for Pearl as she uses her erotic skills as much as her FBI experience and training to avenge the deaths of her loved ones.

This book was great. Noire really wrote a good one. Twins Diamond and Pearl both got pregnant by the same young man when they were 14 yrs. old. Their father, Irish was a reformed gangster that made it his goal to help young boys to keep them out of the drug game. He could help others but he was not able to keep his daughter Diamond from the fast life. Pearl went to college and became a FBI agent. Irish Baines wanted more for his girls. He and his wife, Justine raised their grandchildren. Irish was working with the police to get ganster, Mookie shut down but Mookie found out what Irish was doing so he murdered Pearl's entire family in one night. They all died a horific death. But Pearl was a bad chick and she avenged her family's death one by one. Pearl meets up with an old friend that her father saved from the streets and they were a great support to one another. I highly recommend this book, you will not be bored, I read this book in less than a day. I just couldn't put it down. Keep the books coming Noire...

Now as far as reading goes this was a pretty good read and was fast paced enough to get though it quickly. The main problem I had was developing any empathy for the main character. On the one hand you want to feel excitemnet for Pearl because she didn't let her pregnacy stop her from being all she could be in life, on the other hand I felt that she was no better than her sister in that she basically was a non-existant mom to her daughter. She also proved that she was no better than her sister in that even with all her smarts and all that FBI training we kept being told she was the best at, she still couldn't find another way to bring down those goons without using her body to sex them up. I found it hard to believe that a woman like her who clawed her way out of the ghetto thought that having sex with murderer's and thugs was the way to go to get her revenge. Not to mention how could she look the man she loved in the face knowing what she had to resort to to get the job done. So like said before the story itself was entertaining but in the end I had a hard time having any empathy for Pearl.

What a lowlife that Mookie Murdoch was to order the killing of a family in such a vicious manner. The murder of the girls was disturbing and so cold. But in the end Pearls gets them one by one. I hate that she had to use sex as one of the ways to get inside but there was no other way really...but in the end they pay...They do pay. Finished this in a day; just couldn't put it down. I highly recommend it.

though not her absolute best book noire once again has written not a book but a movie! this book is so good i felt as though i was watching a movie and could not hit pause! i felt as if i actually knew the main character, this book is real, raw and a definite must read!!how many of us wish revenge on those who hurt us or our family??? well Pearl gets the last laugh in this book and while doing so takes us for an erotic ride! the book is def worth your time and money
