5.0 out of 5 stars I wouldn't mind being up against her...
If you like femme fatale pictures, this one fits the bill. Jason Priestley's sister, Justine Priestley plays Amanda and has an eerily easy way of snapping back and forth from sweet and sexy to dark and deadly. I've known some chicks like this in real life, and I prefer the fantasy version! Blues music in the picture is good and contrasts nicely with the building...

1.0 out of 5 stars Kind of a sad, dissturbing ending.
I Think the ending of this movie would have been better if she would of gotten arrested,Instead. Not only that they had to bring up a sad scene from her childhood.

Get out the popcorn and try to figure out what Amanda will do next...

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun thriller, snappy dialogue, good performances, September 28, 2001

Hip twist on the Fatal Attraction genre. Saw this originally at the AngelCiti Film Festival where it attracted a standing room only crowd. Nice pace, fun twists and Priestley shines as the sexy "bad girl."

oooohh.....Amanda is just a poor misunderstood Psychopath! Mike Rissi (writer, director, producer, editor )
does a fine job keeping us on the edge of our seats.
The dog in the film is so cute, how could Amanda pick up that shovel and...? You gotta see it for yourself. Watch for red-head Mike Rissi as one of the Doctors in the opening scene.

Saw this film and was scared and excited all at once. Fell hook and sinker for the beautiful wife, played by Karen Grosso. Can't wait to get my very own copy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Twists and turns and loads of fun..., January 4, 2002

Picked this up at Tower after being intrigued by box and story synopsis. If you like Fatal Attraction, Psycho type movies, this one definitely fits the bill. Personally, I like poetic justice in a movie and this one has it! Abusive types beware! If the same things happened to you that happen to the bad guys in this movie, you'd think twice I bet! Go Amanda!

This movie has great blues music, two beautiful women in love with the same guy. Only problem, one of them is mentally unstable to the max! Nice update on the FATAL ATTRACTION type picture.

5.0 out of 5 stars David DeWitt gives an Oscar Performance, December 19, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Up Against Amanda (DVD)
Although Justine Priestly is the featured star and on the video performance, David DeWitt steals the show and should be considered for an OSCAR. He performance is breathtaking and clearly shows his range as an actor. My sense is that other movie directors and producers will be knocking at his doorsteps
for future roles. This movie is a must see and a new star is born in David DeWitt.
