4.0 out of 5 stars Gnarly British Blues... live!, April 11, 2001
This review is from: Up the Empire (Audio CD)
England's garage rock queen plays live in a small club, where you can hear every clink of a beer bottle and each wicked guitar chord. A nice, intimate snapshot of her style.

5.0 out of 5 stars sexy, swingin' blues swagger, April 8, 2002
This review is from: Up the Empire (Audio CD)
The live atmosphere of these songs serves better to bring out the down and dirty rock and roll spirit of her music. This is blues rock in its natural habitat, untainted and uninhibited. Plus, she has such a great and befitting voice to match the music.
