The music on the blue disk is quite different from what a lot of people in the states are use to. When i first heard it i was a little put off. In time i learn to love and appreciate this disk for bringing into my life what to me is a unique sound that i would not have heard otherwise.

If your a Shania fan you'd definitly want this added to your collection.

The world mix cd is a must for true Shania fans. I love how all three versions are different. For people who just like the "pop" Shania, this is not for you. However for fans of Shania the "artist" this is a must! It is a lot of fun to make different mixes of popular songs, and one can tell this is a labor of love for Shania and RJ. The eclectic mixes breathe new life into the already great songs!

After reading the dozens of reviews on amazon.com.uk that lambast the blue version of Shania's latest, I was relieved to find Stefan's glowing review of it here at amazon.com. I wholeheartedly agree, this blue version is AWESOME. I love the green country version, but I had played it to death. And, the red version never grabbed my attention. So, it was fun to discover this blue version. I really like it a lot. Shania's American fans should do themselves a favor and order this import.

I had ordered the Up! International version and I must say I loved the blue disc so much! The songs are very beautifully mixed in with Indian instruments and it brings new flavor to the Up! songs on the green and red disc (which I might add I love also).

All three discs accompany each other and each disc are different for the different genre of Shania's fans: Country, pop and rock, and finally her international fans.

I love 'I'm Jealous' on the blue disc. It is very beautifully written and mixed and each Indian instruments help bring out a deep-slow moving ballad that touches the heart. A beautiful love song!!!

Others that I love are C'est La Vie, I'm Gonna Getcha Good, In My Car I'll Be The Driver, I'm Not In The Mood To Say No.

The Blue disc is a must for any Shania Twain fans!

Up! International Version~ Shania Twain is a stupendous album with Shanias amazing vocal skills and astounding lyrics and splendid backing vocalists and muisicians that contribute to this out of this world good album. The international version is loaded with two great cds, one being (red one) the album with such great tracks as Up!, I'm jelous and many other tracks and the second (blue one) being filled with exclusive world and rhythmic sound mixes that is a stroke of pure genius. Shania Twain has been able to trancend a genre and is play all over the world and this international version is her best work to date and the sky is the limit for this astounding artist and her angelic vocals and brilliant lyrics and awesome music.

I gave this CD four stars with a heavy heart. I couldn't decide between 3 or 4, but I decided not to sale the CD short. First off this review is not of the red disc that comes with this cd. Instead it is just of the blue (world version). That is the only reason that anyone would by this CD anyway. The Blue disc is a big step for Shania. It's very hard to believe that she went this far with this album. Most of the songs kinda have a Jamacian/Asian feel to them. The way that the songs are mixed hurts some songs and does others more justice than either the green or red versions of the disc. The Ballads suffer the most, with the exception of "It Only Hurts When I'm Breathing." Now on the flip side some of the uptempo songs flurish. "I'm gonna Getcha" sounds very different and exciting. As well does "(Wanna Get to know You)That Good." Now the song "Up!" Sounds HORRIBLE! I have no idea what she was thinking, but there is WAY to much Sitar or something. I just can't stand it to be honest.

The Blue disc is something any Shania fan should get, because they will love it. Don't judge it too hard at first, you have to listen to it a couple of times before you make a decision on it. You have to listen to this CD with a open mind and respect it for what it is, a HUGE step for this Country Diva. The money is definatly worth this CD! So check it out!

PS The red disc is fantastic!

Well, what can I say about Shania except that she's very talented. She hasn't made an album that I didn't like. I love this CD. Has a lot of songs that I really like. The green CD (Country) is the best. The red CD (Pop) is good. The blue CD (International) is a bit strange. The music on the green and red CD's accompany well, but the blue just doesn't seem to fit. If you want to take a chance, then buy the International version which includes the red and blue CD's. Otherwise, just stick to the US version which includes the green and red CD's.

Up international~ I have the American edition but i have got to listen to the cd tracks through the genius creation of the net. It is very different and Americans and pop influenced areas of the UK, Australia etc. all have to realize we are hearing music style that is accepted in the global market that Shania was targeting. It isn't what we're used to at all but in respect it is unique to us and just strange but thats because it's new. Tracks on the blue version like, Juanita, I'm Jealous, Pretty Face, Forever For Always and Ka- Ching best showcase what Shania was wanting to achieve. This version doesn't fit all the songs and it is an experience that just has to be appreciated because it was saying to all her fans hey I want you guys to enjoy me too!!

I still say everyone should give it some credit even if it is so different.

The "international" version is nothing more than the American release vocals with an Indian-flavored background band used in place of the rock or country musicians used on the "red" and "green" versions, respectively. Maybe Sade's songs could be "massaged" with this style to create interesting versions of a CD's worth of tunes, but the result on UP sounds goofy and hard to listen to... like you've hired Ravi Shankar to play lead guitar for the Rolling Stones. If this version of Shania's album ever became popular ANYWHERE, I would be really surprised. Stick to the red or green versions of this CD.

Having been a pop fan for years, I must say the BLUE collection far outways the US domestic RED and GREEN versions. I'm overtly impressed with Lange and Twain's writing ability. The hooks are grand and the lyrics are simple. This is the ultimate in listening pleasure.

Although I would not recommend the BLUE disc to hardcore, country fans, I would recommend this disc to all other music lovers of the world. Aptly named: "WORLD VERSION", this disc is one of my favorities.
