I loved the audio version of this novel. I listened to it during a long 15 hour car drive. Raver does a remarkable job of bringing the characters to life. The story is about a immigrant family making its way through the life in New York in the 1900s. The characters are well developed and the story telling is outstanding. If you like historical fiction about families and strong woman, you will love this. I highly recommend the audio version.
