I havn't see the movie UP yet, nethier has my daughter but she loves it already! This book tells how Russell earns his Wilderness Explorer badges, it's a great kid's book and recommended for any UP fan.

We purchased Russell's Wilderness Explorers' Guide for our daughter's 4th birthday party! She adores this movie and has been requesting a movie "UP" birthday party for six months. This book was a hit at the party! It is all about how Russell earned his wilderness explorer badges. We read six of the pages to the children during the party and had them do modified activities to earn their own Wilderness Explorer Badges. They had a great time especially looking for bugs in the back yard.

This book rules. It expands the backstory of the Russell character to show how he earned all those badges you see him wearing in the film. PIXAR creativity doesn't stop with just the film!!!
