I ordered this as a second power brick for my Asus Vivobook X202E-DH31. First of all, it DOES work - it plugs in, and provides sufficient power to charge the battery while running the laptop. HOWEVER, not shown in the picture or explained in the description is the fact that an included "pigtail" adapter (a short 4-6" cable with a jack one end and a plug on the other) is employed to convert the plug on the end of the power brick (which I believe it is a fairly common 5.5mm) to the one that is on the side of the laptop (4.0mm/1.7mm). The power brick came in the box with this pigtail included and attached. Besides this surprise, the device seems sturdy and well made, although the pigtail itself appears to be of cheaper quality than the plug and wire attached to the brick.

As I said, technically this works for what I bought it for... But having a pigtail is certainly an additional liability, as it can get lost or detached inadvertently which would prevent the machine from getting power. Had I known it used one, I probably would have given more serious consideration to springing for the OEM power brick, which although costing considerably more, has a no-nonsense connection directly from the power brick to the laptop via a right-angle plug.

For the price it's not a bad value, but be warned that the picture is not accurate.

I ordered it for fast delivery because I use my computer every day for work. IT got here FAST! I plugged it in and......nothing. I immediately contacted the company to explain the problem. They shipped a replacement out and got it right away. No hassles and the second one works great! Any company can have a defective part. They made me feel like an important customer and gave priority treatment. I will do business with them again and recommend anyone to do the same!

So, my power adapter for my ASUS X202E crapped out (I only bought it 6 months ago), and ASUS has the crappiest warranty poloicy. You have to send in your adapter first, then they will send you a new one (but how am I supposed to use my computer for the following couple of weeks!). To get a new ASUS adapter would put my $60 in the hole. I took a risk with this 3rd party adapter even though ASUS warned me not to. Screw them. This works fine. At least as a temporary replacement while you ship out your faulty ASUS charger for them to fix. (By the way, for all you ASUS customers, if you call repeatedly, you will get what you want. I called three times and finally they said okay to sending out a replacement charger before I had to send them my faulty one. It's something called an advanced replacement form. They have it, so just mention that that is what you want, no exceptions.)

Works great but concerned because it does get a little warm. The lower drained your battery is the hotter the device gets

This works perfectly for my Asus notebook. It's cheaper than buying the charger that came with the laptop but works just the same.
