My Wife and I used this on a recent trip (flight and air port layover) as a splitter and amp to watch full length movies on our Zune 80 GB to pass the time. It worked great, case, switches, etc are very sturdy and well made. Small enough to pack and travel. Get one if you need to boost the volume or need to share.

These units were sold by Radio Shack two years ago when I was looking for an inline amp for two vastly different purposes. #1 was to allow the Wife and Son and myself to all enjoy movies on the Laptop enroute to and returning from a Cancun vacation on airlines. It performed flawlessly! #2: As a fluke, I put it inline with a small MP3 player that was powered by one AAA battery and the aux input on our 2006 Honda Goldwing audio system. I wasn't looking for volumn as much as lowering the output on the MP3 player significantly to extend the life of its one small AAA powersource. Now I don't leave home without it!

Everything is OK except for one overlooked feature. When you turn it off, it turns off unamplified sound also. A bypass feature would be more convenient. That way if could be left in place when amplification is not needed.

I bought a small DVD player for the car. Unfortunately you could not hear the movie with all the traffic noise. This little attachment works Great !!! Now we have 3 earphone with all the volume we need. Would recommend this item again and again for any audio enhancement. "Boosteroo" its true, great value for a small cost.

I love this thing! It boosts power so I can use the itunes equalizer with much better effect. The volume boost is very noticable. Somebody said that the batteries only last 2 hours, I've used it 3 hours a night for the past week and still going strong. I can hear the sound spectrum a lot better in my headphones. Highly recommended.

I just ordered a pair of gaming headphones for my computer and found that when I tried to us them my computer did not provide enough power to get the volume up to a high enough level. That is where this device comes in. I plugged it into the computer, plugged the headphones into the device and the sound is great, now instead of cranking the volume I am turning it down. :) Also, I can see where this would be useful watching movies on my netbook as well with my girlfriend as it has 3 outlets for headphones.

does shut off line to speakers when not turned off but i didnt expect to use it when it was off! Amplifies my speakers for my mp3 player and for headphones. Durable and easy to use and the battery life seems pretty darn good so far! I would recommend it to a friend.

I am hard-of-hearing and the output from my new Vision:M was ok. I'd thought I'd try this Boostaroo T613 and it does a nice job in the volume dept, but it was a lot larger than I thought it would be. Many years ago I had a similar item, but it was smaller, otherwise it's ok for me in a stationary position.

Boostaroo amplifier and splitter works pretty much as advertised. Amplification is minimal probably about 2 X the volume. I'm using with mini speakers not headphones and this may not be the optimal product for this task.

Big and clunky. Short cable makes attachment difficult. No volume control, which is absurd. Off switch does not just turn off the amp- it disconnects you entirely. Fixed 2X amplification. On light difficult to see.
Other than that, it does work.
This is a market begging for a superior product.
