This product provides a 386 high-performance file system for the OS/2 Warp Server for e-business platform. It is ideal if the file system requirement is to support a file and print-serving environment. If both the file and print serving and the application serving are needed, you could allocate separate partitions to both HPFS and Journaled File System (JFS), enabling multiserver functionality on a single physical system. All previous OS/2 advanced-level server customers migrating to OS/2 Warp Server for e-business are entitled to order the 386 HPFS upgrade from previous Advanced OS/2 Server for each OS/2 advanced-level license.
