Upgrade price much more expensive than a new contract I don't get it, why does the upgrade price go for 259 and a new contract is 99? Don't they want to keep my business?

Does anybody know why there's such a large price discrepancy? In theory, since my two years is up, can't I just get a new contract? The only reason I wouldn't want this though is because I'd lose my unlimited data plan.

Because the wireless companies take every opportunity to wring money out of the customer. A new customer is worth several existing customers to them. Believe me, they've done the math. Good luck!

I am in the same situation, trying to get the galaxy and they are charging me so much more. This is so stupid, they should really change this.
