very nice little foot stool. holds all my pedicure materials. also makes the pedicures much easier. the compartment is roomy enough for glasses, books...

I purchased this stool as a present for Hannukah. It appeared to be well made and looks nice, but this is purely an illusion. The foot stool literally fell into pieces when opened. There was no glue in any of the joints where the pieces of wood attached, only one staple which pulled out immediately. I have purchased several tubes of super glue and am hoping that this piece of garbage holds together. I am very disappointed. Please do NOT waste money on this foot stool.

I was nervous to buy this stool since so many people said this is a junk, but I just gave it shot.
I glad I did it. I don't know why so many people saying this stool not strong. For testing I stood on it. I'm like 160lbs. Anyway no legs are broken. so I don't have any complains

Do not buy this. There is a reason it is so inexpensive !!!

I bought this stool and it arrived promptly. When I opened it, it was damaged (phony cardboard wood veneer was torn and hinge was broken). I contacted the seller and he sent me a new one. When the new one arrived it looked good when I took it out of the box. I put the legs on it, stood it up and it promptly fell to pieces.. I mean every joint let go. There was not any glue, nails or staples visable to hold this together.

Don't waste your money,, with S&H this costs over $50 and is just not worth it. So my stool lies in pieces and I am out $50.

poorly made ...pure and simple..would rather stack of three pillow and rest my feet on that instead,,,,did like the fact it had a storage space but what good is that when the whole thing is falling apart.....in all fairness though the manufacturer did try to make amends ....sorry he did not have a better product.

The stool was good except it has very cheap hinges they were not near large enough or firm enough for average use.

The overall design of this upholstered, wooden stool is very nice. I especially like the fact that it has a storage compartment. It wasn't flawless, however, having a noticeable chip out of the wood and two runs in the fabric, one of which runs the entire width of the lid. But, so far, it's been sturdy, the hinges work smoothly, and the top aligns perfectly with the bottom. The top has a generous layer of foam beneath the fabric, and that makes it comfortable under one's resting heels. It does, however, seem to already be losing its ability to recover, which is leaving a mild dent in the lid. All in all, though, for the price, it's a great little stool.

Don't even look at it...it will break!! We ordered two of them, BOTH fell apart after one day. Save yourself the money, the trouble, and the headache. This is not an isolated incident, these stools are VERY poorly constructed. You may as well buy pieces of wood and put together your own stool!
