Good concept, but Grandad got tired of sitting on this rather unusual device. Therefore, he rather quickly stopped using it.

This product seemed like a good idea, but wasn't what we hoped for. First, the levers that raise and lower are plastic, and I doubt they would have held up long. Second, this may work well on hard wooden chairs, but we wanted to use it on a sofa or living room recliner. The lift seat pressed down into the cushion making it hard to use the levers, and also was unstable in a chair slightly larger than the lift seat. Now for the worst part of my dissatisfaction.... when I went to return the item I learned there was a 20% restocking fee. Between that and the return shipping, it cost me $50.00 to return this item.

My husband is very satisfied with this product and so am I, as I was having to help him out of his kitchen chair. I would recommend this product for anyone having problems get up out of chairs.
