Bought it for a class, but found the book to be interesting to read despite being forced to do it, lol. The book is well organized and the information is extremely up to date. There are multiple sources of addiction referenced, from actual drugs to eating and World of Warcraft.

It gives the history in the begining of how plants were discovered and by whom. How it was first used by different cultures, and how it was expanded into the United States. It also gives the complete history and information about the Cartials, and the government.
