No Fillers on this CD!,

Everytime I buy an acid jazz or smooth jazz album, I end up being disappointed because there are only a few tracks that are worth listening to. The rest either make you sleep or too noisy that it distracts you (especially when you're trying to work - I like to work with jazz music in the background). One day I heard the track Never Felt Love on an internet radio station (Virgin Free Radio) and I was smitten by it! I said to myself, if this was the only song that was worth listening to in the CD, it'll still be worth it. So I took the plunge and bought it. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL! All the tracks are so "tight", groovy and at the same time provide easy listening pleasure. Its perfect for those long hours at work and equally long commutes home. The CD is perfect for setting up the mood! My recommendation is BUY IT! You won't be sorry!

Soundscape UK's Uptown Groove hits the chords. I just received my copy along with 7 other titles by different bands, and Uptown Groove is definitely kickin' it. Gota's on it too and whatta tag-team. The entire album is 'sublime'. A fantastic voyage indeed for those who wish to chill on a cocktail, all alone or with your significant other in a highrise apartment right in the heart of any urban jungle. Highly recommended!

Their best effort yet!,

Soundscape once again prove why they are one of the best groove jazz artists around. Their 3rd release is their best one yet. Considering the first 2 are just as good, this is a must have. Bangs/Talbot are the two behind the groove, and what seems like half the acid jazz scene. For other great artists check out their web site www.soundscapeuk.com

I am going to keep this breif and to the point. I have both Surreal Thing and Life Force. This CD is just as good if not better. They maintain their sound. I will own every CD they make. Sorry I could't go into more detail.

Chris Bangs again resurfaces with Soundscape UK and creates an atmosphere that makes you feel a subliminal urge to go buy a backgammon board and some cognac. Now this is a good thang-the tracks that are entitled "GROOVES" really ARE tight and the track You Make it Heaven is very reminicent of Maysa's CD. One of the tracks should apologize to Stephanie Mills, but overall a quality effort....
