In 1993 a great being of Light came to Judith in meditation and told her to again get ready for inspired writings. The next 13 days in 20 minute sessions the words flowed quickly and smoothly through her pen with hardly a pause. With minor corrections THE UPWARD CLIMB (AN EPIC POEM) was so written. The teachings are for everyone's spiritual path to keep the "Keeping on." Many weep while reading these pages while their hearts rejoice in the remembering.

About the Author

Rev. Dr. Judith D. Parr combines her humor, wit, and compassionate personality and lovely singing voice in presentations with include such topics as: love and forgiveness, the thought processes which parallel either wellness or disease; and, working with angels and galactic beings.

Judith's presentations have brought her before wide ranges of groups such as: Masons, school children, traditional and New Thought churches, holistic health groups, and even UFP conferences, and philosophical groups. She brings the audiences new thoughts to ponder, as well as solutions to her challenges in her hope to stretch people's beliefs in themselves.

Dr. Judith's interesting background has included that of professional singing and French Horn playing. She has been a public school elementary and music teacher and has conducted various bands and orchestras, and even childrens' church choirs. She was also a guidance counselor. Judith is currently a minister/counselor and author of five published books. She has had interest and study in medicine and carries on personal study in metaphysics, and ancient and Eastern religions.

Judith was born and reared in Peoria, Illinois and has lived in California, Hawaii, Florida and considers Colorado home. Travel has always been an important interest and includes travel in the three Americas, Europe, the Pacific, Asia, and northern Africa. Judith and her husband live in a rural setting and have peacocks, and various birds and pet animals.
