Uranian Wisdom and Paradox
My "astro-ally" Eric has written a terrifically informative and wise book on Uranus. There's a wealth of information here, but the very last chapter on "Uranian Wisdom and Paradoxes" really spoke to me. Disappointing
By the description I was looking forward to much more than this book turned out to be. To me much of this book amounts to a very complete compilation of historical Uranus notables. Very good in that capacity but disappointing in terms of what I was seeking.

My "astro-ally" Eric has written a terrifically informative and wise book on Uranus. There's a wealth of information here, but the very last chapter on "Uranian Wisdom and Paradoxes" really spoke to me. I love how the Uranian viewpoint integrates the trickster archetype, and helps us grow...sometimes despite ourselves!
As an evolutionary astrologer, Eric and I also share a similar passion in the importance of the Nodes in the birth chart. My recent book: "North Node Astrology; Rediscovering Your Life Direction and Soul Purpose" is about illuminating what is unconscious in our psyche. Whether we point to the North Node, or the revolutionary impact of Uranus, our books point to a fascinating point: the ego wants to succeed; whereas the Soul wants to grow. As evolutionary astrologers, there's a desire here to help make conscious what is unconscious, and to empower our readers to make better choices based on more knowledge and self insight.
