About the Author
Iris Lee is a poet and editor living in Brooklyn. She runs a writing workshop for theater professionals at the Actors Fund, and studies the poetry-theater connection at HB Studio. She has a professional background in Human Services, with all appropriate credentials. Lee is both a native New Yorker and Quaker. Her poems have appeared in print and online journals, including Subway Chronicles, Passager, and The New York Quarterly.

Like a fabric woven with a pattern of small diamonds... this is a stunning collection of poems. Gentle phrases that astonish with simplicity and character. Iris Lee's poems are both sensitive and powerful. Lines to savor. A panoramic view of emotional experience and physical impulse swooping over the city and the ocean and brought home to nest with careful love.
