Badly organized,

This book is not organized in any logical manner. There is a section of activities and attractions for girls, some for boys, and some for both genders. This made absolutely no sense to me. I much preferred Cadogan's Take the Kids guide to Paris, which was much more detailed and thorough, and organized by geographic area of the city instead. That is a guidebook you can take with you on a trip; not this one.

Hated the way it was organized, and couldn't quickly reference things. Not helpful. Ended up tossing it.

We were definitely able to enjoy Paris with our 4 yr old daughter thanks to this guide. I agree with the other reviewer that you're able to see a different side of Paris with your children. This is certainly a good summary guide of places to go with the kids. We saw the marionette show at Champs Elysees & loved Guinol :-) We also found many playgrounds, carousels, and great restaurant recommendations from this book. Its portable and our trip wouldn't have been as fun without it!

This book has all the details necessary to make an enjoyable trip with your kids to Paris. We visited Paris with our daughter and found the guide very helpful. There is a section which lets you select destinations for girls (or divas, as the guide puts it). There is a similar section for boys (or dudes), and for both girls and boys (co-ed). There are other sections like Playground Paradise (best playgrounds that children can hang around), beauty and the beast (for outdoor fun activities), etc. We had a wonderful time with our daughter, thanks to the guide. I'm hooked and I hope that others in the series are half-as-good for my other trips. All in all a dynamite of a book packed with loads of useful and parent-friendly information that I recommend very heartily.

...about what they liked best about Paris. Of course you will want to explore on your own, but when the kids are bouncing off the walls, where do you go? A free playground of course! How about a babysitter if you want to have a grown-ups date? A useful book for any parent headed to Paris with kids.

This is a bright, easy-to-use guide that is packed with great info. I have not made the trip yet, but it is nice to have a planning guide to get ready.

Having only been to Paris once and overwhelmed then, I can't imagine trying to visit with young travelers without a guide like this to help make decisions, find less obvious fun, and ensure a good time for the whole family, not just the adults -- or just the kids, either. Sensible criteria helps parents identify what might be best for keeping their horde busy and entertained without running into unexpected complications.

the BEST guide for visiting Paris with Kids!,

We recently took our two kids (a 1 yr old boy and 2.5 year old daughter) to Paris with us for a family vacation and this guide proved to be brilliant! I carried it with us everywhere and never once found myself at a loss for what to do with the children. It's super easy and readable and the listings (such as child-friendly restaurants and museums) made choosing venues and planning our days simple and anxiety-free. I was much less-stressed knowing ahead of time that wherever I was going was going to be appropriate for two noisy, energetic children. I highly recommend it!

We knew Paris, I mean the Paris for grown ups, the nice cafes, the smoky bars, the cinemas, all those things you do when you are a couple. This summer however, we needed a different plan. Thanks to this great guide, we discovered along with our 18 month-old son another wonderful side of Paris; marionettes, playgrounds, boat and train rides all perfect for a toddler and his parents, plus it is great to know in advance which restaurants have changing tables and high chairs.

Besides the cover, not very helpful.,

Bright Pink cover, but not very helpful. I have one young daughter and we just got back from Paris where I did not find this book very useful for the week we were there. Dudes and Divas, give me a break more like someone's fantasy and not well organized at that, but it only cost $10. But as the end all for visiting in Paris with children, I think readers would not find this book particularly helpful. Keep looking and doing your own research would be the best way to go. Paris was great otherwise.
