Great wearable colors!,

I really only wanted the green shadow (each color is also sold individually) when I came across this palette. If you are tired of basic neutrals and need to inject some color into your look, this is the way to go. I'm a fair skinned blonde and over 30 but I will say that every color works without making you look like you're trying to relive your teen years. I like to use them wet as a liner along the top eyelashes, but with a light hand, they can work as eyeshadow for day looks too. The shadows are soft, blendable and very saturated. A little goes a long way. They have shimmer but not glitter like some of Urban Decays other colors. Added bonus...it comes with a travel size primer which I was wanting to try anyway but not willing to plunk down the $15 for it. I will after I run out because that stuff is AMAZING. Your eyeshadow WILL NOT BUDGE until you take it off. Great stuff! I've always been a loyal Stila and Lorac user but am finding that more and more Urban Decay is creeping into my makeup kit. Try the glosses too!

best eyeshadows ever!,

Urban decay makes the best eyeshadows...and I've tried them all...was so happy when UD came with this kit...it's absolutely beautiful and filled with the best and brightest colors...the texture is great...and it lasts forever even without the primer which is included...the primer is just magic...but I'm saving it for my cheaper eyeshadows since these shadows are bright enough on their own...

Great colours, great quality!,

I was an Urban Decay virgin until I bought this pallette. I figured it'd be a nice way to sample the colours and quality, as well as the primer potion I'd heard so much about.
And now, I'm finding it difficult to go back to any other brand. The shadows have great staying power on their own, but added with the bonus primer potion, I don't even have to pull out my compact during the day to make sure I'm not creased and smudged, or even faded. Once it's there, it's there till you decide to remove it. It's incredibly easy to put these shadows on a bit heavy for a bold, vibrant look, or you just brush a little on, for a soft but fun look. Blends seamlessly. I love layering Zero over one of the bright colours for an intense, deep shade. Great for smokey eyes, if you like doing them. Even the packaging is nice on this. I've been recommending this product to anyone and everyone who'll listen to me since the day I bought it. If you're considering it, go for it. You'll love it.

I AM a prouduct junkie! This is a lovely set! Don't be scared to blend the colors... Pinks/purple... Black w/purple or gold... These are GREAT eyeshadows, the quality and pigments so blendable. You will have this collection for a long time! When I wear the gold... I get so many compliments about how bright my eyes look. I love a little sparkle...but I don't want to look like I am 16, I am 29 and you can wear these colors to work... it is all in how heavy you apply the color. ENJOY@!

Vibrant and Neutral Shades for darker skin tones,
By
This review is from: Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box (Misc.)
Finally vibrant colors that appear on darker skin tones! This is probably one of the best palettes that Urban Decay has come out with to date. There aren't any glittery shadows for once. Even though the brighter colors are the standout ones for me, they also give you the option of having neutral tones for days when you don't want fuschia eyeshadow on.
Fishnet (a duochrome fuschia), Ransom (dark vibrant purple), and Peace (blue turqoise) are my favorite shades, they are loud colors but I use them as accent colors. I can't remember the name of the golden shade but it is my favorite color to add if I want just a sweep of shadow with mascara. One of the shades not included in the box is called Heat, a burnt red color also can double as a blush.

Not for the Neutrals!,

These colors are VIBRANT. Wonderful color selection for those who aren't afraid to bring attention to their eyes.
__________________________________________________________________________ Texture: just OK (slightly on the dusty side of dry) Staying power: 5 hours for me without sealing potions or undereye creams Cost: Great. Hard to find these intense colors! Individually sold, but I don't wear them enough to go through a bigger batch. __________________________________________________________________________ These are excellent party colors and pair great with black eyeliner and neutral lips / cheeks. Apply with a wet brush or sponge applicator for lively coverage, or brush on softly with your finger or dry brush for a slightly muted party. **If you are excited but nervous about these colors, try the bottom three of the palette for some pizazz without the razz. You can also try the bolder colors by applying them as eyeliner. Dip a wet brush into the bolder color and run a thin line along your top lashes.

Every Beauty Junkie Should Have This!,
This review is from: Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box (Misc.)
Let me start by saying that Urban Decay's standard shadows are, with a few exceptions, fabulous. Their Deluxe Shadows are even better. They apply smoothly, blend effortlessly, have no fallout, and really pack in color. UD did a great job of selecting colors. At first glance, the colors seem loud, and hard to use daily. However, with the inclusion of several neutrals, it's easy to blend in the bright colors for all sorts of looks. Honestly, with the fun colors and the unparalleled quality, I think this palette is more useful than the beloved Urban Decay Naked Palette. This shadow box gives you the capability to create crazy, fun going-out looks, but also conservative, pretty daytime looks. This palette also includes UD's extremely popular Primer Potion. It makes a great addition to the set, and, paired with the included applicators, you have everything you need to create countless different looks.

I got this from sephora for 38 dollars. I tried the colors out in the store and absolutely had to have it. I bought it in February. It's now going on January and I've only hit pan in 4 shades. Honestly I haven't touched the dark blue shade. I personally think blue shadow looks ridiculous. I DO however like the lighter blue to line my waterline with. I get lots of compliments on it too. The colors last all day, and the gold color is SERIOUSLY gold. Like shiny, metallic gold. It's awesome. I'm also a big fan of the darkest brown "underground". That one is almost gone. I don't want to talk about it because I may cry. All in all, this is a must have palette!

Excellent range (gold is sparkly, purple and dark blue are matte, and rest shimmery/luminizing) and excellent colors.Fluffy eyeshadow brush will give you a sheer layer of color that you can wear anywhere, even to the office. Use the eyeshadow primer included and pad shadows on top will give you vibrant color almost like what's in the color palette (if you have light to med skin, it takes a bit more work for dark skin). The dark blue and purple are much more sheer and you really need to pack it on to show. The light blue is very vibrant. I have med/light asian skintone and was hesitant about the pink shadow/scratch, but it's the jackpot. The color is so close to my lid color that you can't really tell I'm wearing eyeshadow except for the fact my eyelids are much much prettier (a tiny bit more luminous and the pink hint brightens up my face). Love the fact colors do not look chalky Definitely recommend: sheer color for day, buildable/vibrant color for night. So many combination for experimenting/mixing (my fav are purple/blue, green/blue/gold). Excellent lastly power. I use the sponge to put a swatch on my arm then went about my business as usual, 12 hours later, you can see very faint hint of all colors, 24 hours later, no more shimmer and only the black and light blue are visible. Would give 5 star if the purple and dark blue are as vibrant as other colors.

I got this as a birthday present and fell in love with it the moment I opened it. The colors are so pigmented, they are easy to blend and last all day. The only minor problem I have with this that the colors tend to cause a lot of fall out when applying and blending.
