4.0 out of 5 stars Urban Novice, February 12, 2011
This review is from: Urban Geography (Hardcover)
I got this book for a class that is both and elective for non-majors, and required for geography majors. I was a non-major. The book was a little hard to read through. Not a whole lot of pictures, but good diagrams, especially on the different urbanization models. I got this book because it was required.... my teacher quizzed out of it. I have no experiece with Geography textbooks, but it seemed like a decent one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Urban geography, October 14, 2010

Definitely not a leisure read. This is quite possibly the hardest book I have ever read. The authors are to wordy and drag out sentences making it hard to follow their train of thought. So if its not a required book for a class find a different book.
