I'm very happy with the build quality and sound quality as well.

Cons: I wish the cord was longer just for my personal use, like when I go to sleep with them on, but other than that, none!

Everyone that comes into Best Buy - where I work - I always recommend these headphones.

I am a music enthusiast of all genres and I am also a DJ so when I was looking for a pair of in ears after my others died I was looking for something that would last and provide a nice warm and full sound to my music as I will use these for everything. Travel, casual listening, producing, and the miscellaneous.

I listen to a lot of Dance music but I also listen to a lot of Classical music, and these deliver on exactly what I wanted: Nice highs, Good mids, and big bass that is punchy, warm, and because the drivers are big, do not drown out the rest of the music.

They are comfortable and very simplistic which is good. Plus they are built extremely well, and appear durable. I've had them for a couple months now, and they've taken a beating but show no signs of wearing out.

The features are immense, and I love Urbanears now because of their extremely cool little additions that most other ear buds do no have. Everything they put in this ear bud are useful and makes this product so great!

Pros: Big drivers for ear buds, simplistic, Great Overall Sound, punchy bass, comfortable to wear, no tangle cord

Cons: Only gripe is that I need to turn up the volume 1-2 more clicks to get the sound where I like it in comparison to my other ear buds, but I'm guessing it could be the fact that the bigger drivers need more power, so not really a con.

Overall: I cannot get enough of these... Use them everyday over all genres and they sound great as long is the music that is coming in is good. These earbuds are built well enough that you can tell when a song has been compressed and does not sound right, in other words, they are engineered the right way!!! Highly Recommend

These ear buds were considered by wire cutter as the best budget bass earphones. So I decided to give them a try. When they came I immediately opened the box and was very surprised by the quality of the packaging. Once I figured how the tricky packaging came off the ear bud I plugged them in to my nexus 5 (no amp) and gave it a go. Upon first impression I was slightly disappointed, but I once heard that headphones have a break in period so I listened for a few hours and decided the bass did seem more noticeable and clear. If you are looking for the coolest designed ear bud this is definitely a buy. But if you are buying because of base I would personally move on to bigger and better things.

-Update 3/10/2014 These headphones have continued to surprise my friends who are used to the mediocre sound of typical cheapo ear buds that you find at Walmart. Unfortunately the left ear bud has now become faded and noticeably quieter than the right I am thinking this is a factory defect and will be trying to claim a replacement pair from urban ears (because my 30 days ended about a week ago). Hopefully this next pair wont have this same issue. I will let you guys know how the experience goes.

I do solar water heating on O'ahu. My tasks put me in the house, on top of the house, under the house, in the attic, etc.. I sweat, crawl through confined spaces, and work in the elements(which on this island are actually tame and gorgeous). I enjoy quality sound to keep a motivated tempo at work, while also communicating via phone with co-workers and others. I've owned Bose, Apple, Harman-Kardon, and various other overpriced disappointments. I finally hit pay dirt with Urbanears. Satisfied with the performance and durability of their "Bagis" buds, I ordered the "Kransen" set, and tried 'em out today. What a well thought-through product. It met all of my criteria:
1. Secure fit. ( I was already pleased with the company's "Bagis" earbuds' fit, but these Kransens are even a notch better. For those who reverse "right" and "left" buds to loop cord over the ear, both Bagis and Kransens accommodate comfortably.
2. Cord must easily slide with my movements.( I wear the cord under my shirt. The Urbanears earbuds' cords do not grab skin or cloth like so many other silicone-ish cords from other brands.) Genius.
3. Secure when out of ear: ( That awesome snap feature helps me wear the buds like a pendant while not in the ears, keeping them from sliding though my shirt and dragging on the ground risking damage or loss.)
4. Kransen's cord management is phenomenal. A 90 degree jack saves space, reduces risk of damage, and is just deep enough to pass through my Otterbox armor iPhone case. There's even the little hole to pass the jack through to make a tidy coil for storage.
5. The mic checks nice, check one.
***Some folks might be put off by the absence of volume control at the remote, as I was originally, but other sets I've owned which had that feature, the added sophistication made the option a more fragile compromise.
Already gonna order more for gifts and spares. Very impressed.

These headphones are super nice! I wear them about 18+ hrs a day and they are super comfortable in my ears. I do have to take them out here and there to give that ear a break, but that's because I have them in so much. The sound quality is superb too! Although I would recommend only for people who like Bass. There is a noticeable bass boost, well I call it boost, to those who do not like bass will think that it is just poor quality. This is not the matter though, they have really great sound. Dubstep sounds amazing through them, and even metal too! I would say they really amplify the music.

Pros: Very Very Comfortable, Stylish, Sturdy and Tangle Free Cord, Great Sound, Good Bass, has Mic, Seems to have a slightly longer than normal cord too.
Cons: I wish the cord was longer just for my personal use, like when I go to sleep with them on, but other than that, none!

Other Notes: If you use the headset in a stereo output, press and hold the button on the mic to see if it makes the speakers louder. I use mine plugged strait into the back of my computer and if the button is not held then the sound is only about 50% of what it is when the button is held. I just use the twisty tie that came with it to hold down the button for me. It does not need to be held when plugged into a phone though.
