This book was originally published as "Urdu word count" supplemented to "Urdu Newspaper Reader" (Urdu Edition) by Mohammad Abd-Al-Rahman Barker, H. J. Hamdani, and K. M. S. Dihlavi (Paperback - Dec 1974). Therefore, words contained in this book are only those appeared in the newspaper reader. I use this book as a quick reference for reading Urdu news online. But it may not contain many vocabulary items appeared in day-to-day conversation.
